Ooc:// In just a little bit, he's going to take them.

Maya felt unable to run, and sank to her knees, not caring if they would soon be stained green from the grass. She covered her red, tear-streaked face, closing her eyes briefly. When she opened them, sadness once again turned to anger, although not as strong as before.

"Why did you let them take him?" she demanded, standing up shakily. He shook his head, but she caught a cold glint in his eyes.

"He's not going to prison. And you'll see him soon."

The words sent chills down her spine, and she pressed herself against the nearest solid object, a thick oak tree. "W-what do you mean?" she asked, more shakily then before.

Seth decided to try his look at getting away once again, but so far no luck. Soon, a scientist began to come at him with a huge needle. He went wide-eyed and began to struggle as much as possible. But another scientist put his hands on Seth's chest, to stop him from struggling. Seth winced as the needle penetrated his burnt, bruised skin.

"Let go of me, Fletcher. If you don't even care what happens to your own brother, than I don't want to be near you!" She spokje the words withour meaning them, immediatly feeling bad. She hadn't heard Harmon's words, but if she had, maybe she would have swallowed her pride and her barbed words. "Sorry..." she muttered.

"Everyone in the car."

The unexpected words made Maya look up, into her father's cold eyes. "Why should we?" she asked. His stern gaze immediatly reminded her of her numerous bruises, and she looked down again, taking a hesitant step towards the vehicle.

Fletcher let his hand grip loosen and let go of Maya when he heard the stern words of the man who called himself their "father". He stood tall, not moving. "I'm not leaving." he said defiantly, knowing he hadn't done anything -that his father knew of- to deserve this.

Harmon jumped at his father's words, and his blue eyes were bright with fear. He didn't know whether to get in the car and obey, or if he should stay with Fletcher. He shook in his spot, his feet shuffling nervously.

As the needle was in, the scientists began to bring more and more needles towards him. He began to think faintly of his family. He thought of Maya and Bridget and Harmon. The siblings who didn't hate him. Then he thought of Fletcher and after a while he began to realize he was probably right. It wasn't fair for him to put his siblings through this, even if they didn't mind.
