Sabyr immediatly jolted awake, snarling. SHe calmed as she saw Hilop, and her knotted muscles loosened. "Sorry," she muttered, slightly embarrassed.

Seer's head whipped around at the snarling, but then she saw it was ok. She walked over to them. "Are you guys ok? What happened?"

"Nothing," Sabyr said, managing a small smile. "I just got startled is all."

"Oh, ok then." Seer said, and walked back out of den, "Would you like anything? Like food?" she asked.

"That's ok" he said. 'sorry for doing that. you hungry?"he asked. (need to go but will reply tomarrow)

What do you mean? Pain in who's eyes?

Brokefang returned to the cave, several more dead hares hung from his mouth. There was enough for everyone to have one-that count included the one he got earlier. he set the hares down and sighed, "Now that we have enough wolves we should try to take down a deer. We need the food, we won't survive long on one rabbit a day each."

Sabyr nodded. "Good idea. ANd er, thanks for the food." That part came out awkwardly.

Hilop looked at Brokefang and nodded. " That also should be good enough to train the pup too. We hunt at sunhigh" he said leaving the den to head to the pond.

When he arrived he sat dow, lowering his head to drink the water as the cool liquid went down his throat slowly. He then dunked his head in to wash it. When he came up he shook his head dry, water flying everywhere. Then he stopped, catching a scent. He sniffed the air as his quietness turned into a growl. "It's my rival pack"he growled in his head. He took off, running back to the den.

He arrived, panting as he entered. "The rival pack is near. They are searching for me"he said. "We might need to run, we aren't strong enough to fight them yet" he said looking at Sabyr and then to Brokefang.

"Um, ok..." the puppy said, a little scared, "I'm a good runner. My parents taught me that before they were, um, killed." she said, quietly.

Sabyr stood next to him protectively and comfortingly.

"When do we run?" the pup asked, growing a little more afraid. "And how far?" Seer added, flicking her tail.

Brokefang looked back, "I'll stay and hold them off to give everyone a better chance." Dieing for a cause was better than living without one.

No"Hilop said. "we all run, we then fight if they reach us. Sabyr, you make sure the pup keeps up"he said.
