Why, why, why? You've had what was touted to be a "final" script twice now, only to either scrap it or change the medium. If the project keeps continuing like this I am afraid it will be stuck in endless script and medium revisions.

Not to mention the version that was scrapped back when they decided to throw democracy out the window.

Why am I not surprised?

Frankly, though I credit certain people with the heart involved in TRYING to see this thing through to fruition, I have my doubts and serious concerns about the end product, if it ever even comes (and even the project itself), because of the involvement of a few individuals. But I shall not go further than that.

No one can fault anybody for wanting to keep the Balto thing alive by trying fan projects but, as we have seen, such complex projects have never really seen the light of day (none that I've ever heard of anyway), and one must question, at times, the motivations of those involved and the ultimate goal of said project. Does it do honor to the characters? Does it respect and do honor to the REAL serum run and its participants? Does it avoid fan extremes and oddities?

I won't hold my breath. Others may if they wish. And no foul upon them. But not I.

DT: in your mind it was. you just are relentless if you cant have your way

But seriously you just blatantly drew that line because Kiko's character is in the series and you hate him because he is actually different then your religious preferences allow. I will not put a personal grudge before my friendships or personal relations, NOT EVER. so don't even try it.

On the religious side of the matter before you even start on me, I am in a devout Christian family spanning 5 generations and my grandfather is or was one of the most respected preachers on the east coast for nearly 35 years at one of the most respected establishments on the coast, Grove Avenue here in VA so before you try to make it so political, use your head and don't act like I'm responsible for your problems with one another, alright?

and note for the mods, AGAIN I mean to start absolutely nothing here, All I want is a little resolve here, ever since he found out Kiko was in the project he has been on my case about it simply because they hate one another. no offense is meant here. Now that is out of the way, I am no further discussing the matter from here onward in this thread. if you have such a problem with it use the PM's. that's why they are there....

JC: That mess aside, as for it being historically accurate. we MAY very well do a side take on it in that light (sort of like a fact/fiction tango *yeah that sounds bad lol*) because I for one like the idea. BUT there still will also *obviously* be a more fictionalized story too or rather more accessible story, But again, I am not ruling out the possibility of doing a more historically accurate take or having that be the theme for a season of the show.

I can prove otherwise, and don't think for one minute that I won't.

I was friends with Kiko for a very long time, before this whole mess got started, and I still have friends who are, shall we say, of the same persuasion of it. It's just that none of the have, to my knowledge, stooped to the depths I've seen him delve. Had it occurrred to me to check the new script before he took over, I would have raised objection then. We had a perfectly good script going, but since then you have gone out of your way to lock out anyone and everyone who objects to your little agenda. You've personally and openly slandered me, accusing me of things I had nothing to do with. You've told the outright lie that I never contributed, as anyone who looks at the start of this discussion can see is false. And you've made it sound like I'm the one and only dissenter, or as if I put all the dissenters up to it, when some of them I had never even spoken to before this mess started. And, might I add, after someone else independently objected, you put the script under an embargo. Why? Given the timing, could anyone seriously believe it was for any reason except to stop other people from reading it and seeing the truth?

As for your background, I couldn't care less who your grandfather or great-grandfather was. Ancestry proves nothing, as I believe you injected into your precious script. It was one of the few good things in there.

Oh yeah, well let me remind you this project was MORE HIS than mine in the first place. So again you pinning on ME like I am solely responsible. THAT is where my problem is. I honestly do not care about your past. its just insane the way you constantly start drama with this kid. he has done absolutely NOTHING to warrant it. NOTHING. so back off. That's all I am asking. I'm so sick of living in politics and prejudice and if you really truely knew me, you'd know this very very well by now. but its obvious you dont have a clue.

and as much I hate to, I am calling for this thread to be locked before the drama gets any worse. Sorry to everyone who was following the thread for actual updates. you can find us on Facebook and eventually Twitter as well. see all of our actual followers elsewhere.

EDIT: AND ACTUALLY. I have PM'ed the author about this being locked. again our sincere apologies to our real followers for the bummer.

CR -- If it happens, then it happens. Again, nothing personal here (because I have no issues with you whatsoever that I know of), but I am not going to hold my breath.

However, while I am not involved in whatever conflict may be happening between Kiko and DT, I must say that Kiko's involvement is one of the very big reasons I have a problem with this also. Given Kiko's deeply-disturbing predilection for bestiality (no matter the language he wishes to couch it in to throw off what it really is), which is illegal in most of the United States (and a felony in some of them) and elsewhere in the enlightened world, I want nothing whatsoever to do with the project (even though I have been asked before), nor will I delve into it if it ever sees the light of day. And my problems with it are not religiously-centered. Nope. Rather, they are centered on caring for the abuse of innocent and trusting domestic animals (especially dogs, which give we humans such trust...and bestiality is a sickening, vicious violation of that trust). It should come as no surprise to you that Kiko hates my guts too, because I have been willing to point out his disturbing proclivities, and work for the protection of innocent dogs whenever I can. Kiko will see his day when the law catches up with him, for sure.

Rant over. This will probably get deleted anyway. Which would be wrong. I was addressed, and I responded. And I felt this deserved an explanation. I cannot gloss over how I feel about this. That would be a disservice to the discussion and to my feelings on the matter.

And once again people. exactly my point.

AND for the record. we had NO INTENT of that being displayed ANYWHERE. Not one trace of it. We're not that low that we'd deliberately do something like that. we ARE adults and the intent was for it to be like any other fan produced series. But We understood the script had issues and as of recently have agreed it was completely and entirely too extreme for the spirit of this series, BUT since people cant seem to speak their minds without drama this is what its become. AS A MATTER OF FACT we have ALL unanimously agreed anything higher than a G rating is completely uncalled for and therefor are in the process of cleaning everything up. BUT as usual. I cant even announce that before were already being attacked yet again. Touche man, just Touche.

EDIT: So before you go making accusations of something that fails to exist in this project, do some research and spare us all the agony. it makes things a lot less complicated and we can carry on with life. but I just dont understand why I'm the one constantly in the eye of the storm. I am not trying to be that guy that hates everyone and everything, I just refuse to be prejudice, I prefer open-minded. to an extent.

The implication that I started anything is so ridiculous that I'm not even going to dignify it with a response. And my apologies for confusing you with the real originator of this project. With changing usernames and whatnot I can't make heads or tails of it, and it's reaching the point where you all talk alike anyway.

I haven't attacked you or the project itself. Nor have I even attacked Kiko. I just stated some otherwise well-known information and made it clear I don't want to see anything he's been involved in. I have no axe to grind with you whatsoever. Please don't draw one out of thin air. Besides, I thought I just did speak my mind...and without drama. However, I am more than 100% certain that drama will stem from my daring TO speak my mind.

I still have nothing against you or the others. I have a very big thing against Kiko and anything with his handiwork. No matter his overt "intent".

Nice late reply there. perhaps if you would read my latest reply you'd see we have every intent of this being strictly G rated as of the last month. we all agreed via conference that we would detox the entire project meaning absolutely no adult content, and Kiko has even stated to me numerous occasions via skype that he had no intent of delving into his characters' preferences beyond what virgin ears and eyes should've seen and heard. so your just blowing it all out proportion with the idea we were aiming for anything higher a G rating. which was never the intent. it was purely accidental. They say the easiest habits are the hardest ones to break, well with teamwork its a breeze to shatter them. so please back off. I'm asking kindly one last time before I have the thread locked.

I did. It's beside the point for me. It's not the end product, it's one of the parties involved.

Can we leave it at that where I am concerned, please? My mind will not be changed no matter how "G" you make it. Not so long as my personal issue remains. Not saying you have to change it either, or dismiss Kiko. That's up to you guys. But those are my reasons for not wanting to even SEE it...much less keep talking about it.

Fascinating. I try to be respectful to you, and you throw vitriol at me. I have not been IN your "business", and I don't respond to threats. Your conflict appears to be with DT. Leave it there and good riddance. Thank you.

All I am saying is I am done here, and I expect my project's privacy to be respected from herein. I was not meaning for that to come out like that. that was not intentional

So I am done with this argument. </thread>

If I had even the slightest reason to think you were telling the truth I'd be thrilled, but I have all the info I need to prove, with 99.9% certainty, that you're lying. I have the script you wrote, which was LOADED with things well above a G-rating (so much for "never the intent"). I have this topic's past posts, wherein you threatened and finally ousted me for pushing for a G rating. And now you've suddenly agreed to cut all objectionable content? Based on the above and more evidence which I am ready and willing to post for all to see the minute it proves necessary, it's not hard to figure out you're just covering your backside, the same as you did when you put the script on embargo.

Your project was dead the minute you started talking out of both sides of your mouth. Deal with it.

I personally think it would be best to drop this and let a mod deal with it.
