Fen nodded slowly, seeing her scoot away from him made him feel like he had scared her. He grabbed his shirt which had been sitting on a rock, he tore a strip from it and bandaged up his hand. He threw his torn shirt back onto the rock and then put his hands in his lap, looking into the fire. He sat there for a minture before he suddenly stood up, grabing his sword in one swift motion. He looked at the entrence and a low, growl sounded from his throat, a sound that a regular human should have never been able to make. He sniffed the air, glaring at the entrence to the room they were in. "...do you know that person?..." he growled thickly, his grip on his sword tightening.

'Who?" Shay asked, standing up. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to see past the fire, and get a good look at the person behind the flickering flames. A slight girl emerged, looking paler than Shay, her blue eyes wide.

"Jen?" Shay asked, surprised. The young girl nodded, her chin wobbling slightly. "I-I came to find you, and tell you I missed you..." she said, trailing off. Shay's eyes softened at her younger sister's sweet words, although deep inside, she was slightly annoyed at her sister's dogged loyalty. Jen stepped around the flames, throwing a wide-eyed look at Fen. "Wh-Why is he here?" she asked, timidly.

Fen's growls quieted as Shay begain talking to the new girl. When Jen looked at him he couldnt help but look back at her with his dark violet eyes, his face giving no emotion. He said nothing as he watched the two girls infront of him, and he was guessing that they were both vampires. His hand tightend around the hilt of his sword, he couldnt help the werewolf instinct that was telling him not to let his guard down.

Shay's normally pale cheeks took on a pink hue as she flushed. "Just because," she said, the same reason she had given for many things. She turned to fen, deciding to explain her relationship with Jen. "This is my younger sister," she explained softly.

Fen's grip on his sword relaxed as he put it away. He nodded, now understanding the relationship that Shay had to Jen. He looked at Jen again and then at Shay "...She is a princess as well then..." He suddenly relized that Jen could take off running, now learning that her sister, Shay, was with a werewolf. He moved and blocked the entrence, his arms crossed over his chest, and his shaggy hair covering his eyes.

"I'm not gonna tell," Jen said softly, as if reading the werewolf's mind. Shay decided to take on a slightly Fen-like appearance, and crossed her arms over her chest, and stood in front of her sister, suddenly becoming authoritive. "You sure aren't," she said sternly. "And I'm not sure if you should go back home or not either. Why did you follow me?" The last question was asked a bit harsher than Shay had originally intended.

The timid young vampire quailed in front of her sister, and her lower lips trembled slightly as she fought back tears. "I w-was worried you wouldn't come back," Jen said softly, evidence of tears in her voice, even though they had not yet spilled down her face. Impulsivly, Jen reached a hand out, meaning to grasp Shay's to gain some comfort. She relented, and uncrossed her arms, taking her sister's small hand.

Fen glanced at Shay and then at Jen. "...Jen..." He lifted his head so his hair moved out of his face. "...Do you know if you were being followed?..." He made his voice rougher, and harsher when he spoke to Jen, he didnt know if he could trust her, and the fact that she was so timid could have made her awarness faulty. He growled slightly, letting Jen know how serisous her was about this.

Jen took refuge behind her sister, and peeked out from behind her as she spoke. "I-I don't think so," she said, practically whispering. "I think I heard something a few times, but I think it was just animals," she added, in the same shy voice.

Fen snarled and pulled out his sword in one swift motion, even in human form, when he snarled his teeth were more canine like than human. He swiftly and queitly went out and sniffed the air, his gaze darting from each shadow to every fallen tree branch. He spotted a very slightly movement and he lunged, pulling a person up by their arm he held his sword to their throat. He pulled him back into were Jen and Shay were. He looked at Jen with a growl and then looked at Shay, "...Kill him?" He asked, refering to the man he had hostage.

The tears in Jen's eyes pooled over at that thought, and Shay looked at downward at her sister. She looked back at Fen, and hesitated. She shook her head, trying to communicate with her eyes that they would once Jen would be unaware of it.

Fen nodded as he noticed Shay's gaze. He tied the man up and put him in a corner, then he walked back over and stood infront of the exit, his arms crossed against his chest once again. "....is she staying or going?..." he asked, his voice harsh still.

Jen looked torn, and Shay felt the same way. It certainly wouldn't be smart to send her home, even if Jen had promised to keep her mouth shut. BUt then again, did she really want to be responsible for her little sister. "I don't know," Shay said. Jen just made a small shrugging motion.

Fen sighed, "Well if she's not going back then she better get used to this." He pulled out his blade and then grabbed the man by the back of the shirt, he drug him outside and slit his throat, the man's last gurgeling scream made fen look down, he got rid of the body and slowly walked inside. His dark hair covered his eyes again, he didnt like killing, it reminded him of how he was treated when he was a prisoner, watching all his werewolf brothers die. He sat down next to the fire, loking at the base of the flames. "...Well decide, because we're going to have to get moving soon." Then he went silent.

Jen became paler than normal, and immediatly threw a terrified glance at him. She looked up at Shay with wide eyes, and her hand was pulled out of her older sister's grasp. "I'm leaving," she said, her voice trembling as much as her body. The scream echoed aorund her mind, and horrified, she practically ran most of the way home.

Shay winced at the screams, but her reaction wasn't as strong as her sister's. "Atleast I don't have to take care of her," she said softly, after a moment.

Fen looked up at Shay "We have to move...she isn't going to keep her mouth shut." He stood up, grabbing his stuff, and sliding on his shirt he nodded "Come on." He went outside and looked around, sniffing the air, and once he was satisfied he motioned for Shay to follow, then he took off running deeper into the forest, and farther away from the castle, which was more like a prison to him.
