Logan looked up at the greyhound with thankful eyes and was glad that soemone here was friendly. So far all he had known was hostile acts. As he looked up at the kind dog (now he knew her as Rika), he noticed she was still in her cage. He wanted to pay her back somehow for helping him. He wanted to be able to help her in return.
A glint came into his eyes as he got an idea. He stretched his body so that it reached up to the lock. Pawing it and biting it with his puppy teeth, he was attempting to get it unhooked. After several minutes, his attempts proved successful. The latch popped open and Rika was free from her cage. If she wanted to be, at least...
The puppy, Logan, gave her a smile and yipped silently. "Thank you."
