"Probably either in the middle of the day or in the middle of the night," Suki said. "Mako usually does his fights early in the morning or in the evening because it's day without the light or something like that. He sometimes has fights at night too, but we dogs never know that kind of stuff."

"Well, we chased them into a sewer," Zeus started to explained. "And Mammoth got stuck, so Nikita and I had to get him out before folllowing them. And then when we got in there, we saw Luke and Suki get eaten by a alligator."

"So would midday be the best time to go?" asked Luke. "If he does the fights in the morning and evening, there's probably not be many people there at midday."

"And you're positive they're both dead?" asked Mako,snapping his whip and hitting Zeu's paw, causing blood to drip from the wound.

"Yeah!" Nikita said quickly. "They are dead, we saw them. I promise!" she shouted, glancing at Zeus and then up to Mako.

"We all saw it," Zeus said, adding the 'all' in so if it turned out in true, all of them would be punished. He ignored the stinging pain in his paw.

"That was my point," Suki said.

"Hey, I got stuck." said Mammoth, though it couldn't be told if he was too stupid to know what Zeus meant or if he knew but didn't want to be punished. "I'm too big to fit through the manhole."

"Well if it turns out they're still alive, you'll wish you weren't." said Mako, though he directed it at Zeus and Nikita due to the fact he knew Mammoth was too big to fit into the sewer.

"So how do we handle the dogs if they're still there?" asked Luke. "Or does Mako keep them with him?"

"We saw it with our own eyes," Zues said/

"Well, I don't think they stay with Mako, but they don't sleep in the same cages as us," Suki said.

"Then we should be ok then, espically if Mako has them fight the night before and they're tired." said Luke. "But how do we get the cages open?"

"Good, now get in your cages, I've got to go collect my money." said Mako.

"Mako keeps the keys with him," Suki said. "We'll just steal them or break them." She shrugged like it was no big deal.

Zeus sighed. "Fine," he said, nudging Mammoth to go first.

Luke smiled. "Dad taught me to pic locks." he said. "I just couldn't do it from the inside of my cage, my legs weren't long enough."

Mammoth stomped on Zeus' hurt paw before heading to his cage.

Nikita nodded and then watched Mammoth as he stomped on Zeus's paw. She opened her mouth slightly, holding in a laugh as she jumped over Zeus and headed into her cage.
"Hurry up then Zeus!"

Suki sighed. "Then I guess it won't be a problem then, will it?"

Zeus held in a whimper and then a growl as he followed the other dogs.

"Unless Mako has a secuity system, no." said Luke. "Or if the someone hears us, he probably doesn't leave his money maker unguarded."

"Well that wasn't as bad as I expect." said Mammoth.

"For now," Zeus said, not thinking that Mako's reaction was all.

"I don't think Mako's smart enough to put in a security system," Suki said. "Or maybe he's just cocky enough."

Nikita rolled her eyes, sitting down in the cage. She then shook her fur, and looked around the place. "I hope them mutts are dead" she said, turning to look at the two males. "Or we are in trouble" she said with a nod.
