Everest saw Aleu pin her ears back close to her head. "Its fine. I've learned to live with it." He said. "And yes, you should be grateful that there both back in Nome, waiting for to her back from you someday." He said. "What?" Everest asked.

Aleu sighed. "Alright, like I said, I didn't figure out I was part wolf until a few days ago...when I was a pup, I had no idea I was diffrent than my brothers and sisters...I mean sure, I liked to howl a lot but I never thought anything of it, I just thought I was a normal dog." she said. "But when it came time for us to be picked up by humans and taken to live with them...I was the only one of my siblings left in the cardboard box my mom's owners put us in to give us away." she said. "...I've never felt as lonely as I did when the sunset that day...my siblings were gone and I didn't have an owner of my own...until yesterday...that lonelyness never went away...and in all honesty, it left a lot of pain in my heart, you know?"

Everest listened to every word that Aleu said, his ears pricked with interest. He listened to her say she always thought that she wasn't different from her brothers and sisters. Everest listened to her say that she was the only pup out of her and her siblings to not get adopted, to have a family and an owner, as most 'normal dogs' do. "But its ok now, you don’t have to feel lonely anymore."

"I know...its just I've never let all that lonelness out." said Aleu. "I've never cried about it when I know I should've...it just eats away at you if you don't let it out...and just hurts worse but...I didn't want to look weak..." she said, tears starting, now she wanted to let it out. "I hope you don't think I'm weak for crying...I just...I just want to get it all out...all the pain and sadness that's built up over the years." she said, she really wanted him to let her cry on his shoulder.

"I know how you feel Aleu." said Everest, feeling a bit sad about his past, and this female wolves besie him's past. "Yes Aleu, you have to let it out or it will just bug you inside, and eventully wind up killing you inside." Everest said, now seeing the tears run like mad out of Aleu's blue eyes. "And no Aleu, its fine to cry. Its ok to be sad. Its not ok to hold it in for your whole life and ever let it out. It bad to keep it a secret... as I have."

Aleu could hold back and buried her face in his shoulder, crying heavily and sobbing, letting out the built up pain and saddness, crying more that she'd ever done before.

Aleu kept crying, cried until it was all out. It took about 10 minutes before she finally stopped. She kept her face on his shoulder for a few moments before finally pulling her head back and wiping away her tears. "Thanks...I'm sorry for crying for so long on your shoulder." she said. "Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulder though."
