Saya sighed "Dodger..." Her voice went dull and quiet "We need to talk.." She said, he didn't know she liked him, it use to be just a game the played as pups.

Angel looked a little angry "What ever.." SHe said, she just kissed his forhead and smiled


Alaska laid in her neon room.

Alaska looked at the wind and the darkening clouds as she walked outsaide threw her window.She stood in the backyard as droplets of rain fell down.Her skin began to shiver slightly as the once small peices of rain were now large droplets.She let out a howl, it was so beautiful, it was like a song.Tears began to flow from her eyes..

Angel called teh dogs as they all bundled up against the window, watching Alaska howl to no one.But yet to everyone in the world.

Angel bumped him "She is crying...she is howling." She told him.

Saya blushed "I-I like you..like you like you..not the way we played as pups Dodger.." She told him, her heart was beating her chest rapidly and her stomach felt all airy inside.

Alaska fell down, her body was weak from the never ending howl.She closed her eyes as she passed out on the back lawn.

Cooper silently got up and walked to his room. He had been quiet the whole meeting, listening intently on the decisions made. It started to rain outside, and he smiled a bit. He loved it when it rained. He walked outside, still with a small smile on his face. Alaska howled and he padded over to her. "I love the rain." He said quietly. He had off and on mood days, and today was a quiet day. "You know why?" He pushed his body to her shivering one to try to heat her up. She was warm, but he couldn't actually tell because he was abnormally cold all the time. Before she could answer, she fell limp on the wet grass. Cooper's eyes went wide. "Alaska? Are you okay?" He nudged her with his nose. "Alaska!" He yelped. "Help!" he yelled, looking around. "Help her!" When no-one answered, he pulled her up by the scruff and dragged her onto his back. He trudged across the lawn as fast as he could and went into the haven. The dogs inside stared at him. He ignored them and lugged her up into her neon-painted room. "Alaska, wake up!" He nudged her again. He tried a few more times, before giving up. Instead he just pushed himself to her to keep her warm. Her breathing was shallow. "Hang in there..." He thought aloud.

Alaska opened her eyes and blinked rapidly, everything was a blur.She felt Cooper's body and she smiled sweetly and nuzzled him lovingly, he had just saved her while veryone watched and stared.

Saya ran up to the room and peeked threw the door, she saw Alaska nuzzled Cooper and she smiled, all giddy.

Angel looked around the door and tried to walk into the room, but Saya grabbed her by the collar and she sat down.

Cooper felt a nudge in his side and looked down. "Good, you're awake." He smiled softly and cocked his head just a bit. "I was getting worried. What happened? Are you okay now?"

Alaska looked outside, it was still raining and her throat was burning "I howled for to long..." She said, she hoped he wouldn't asked her why, because whenever she howled in the rain ment she was crying.

`Saya looked at Angel "Go down stairs you prep!" She snapped and Angel snarled.

Angel was offened by the way she spat out the word prep."Shut up you good for nothing dumpster dog!" She said in her prissy voice.Saya then pounced on her and was attempting to push her off the stairs and into the living room."No!Stop!" Angel yelped helplessly as she snapped at Saya's paws.Alaska heard them and got up, her hackles were raised as she swat their faces "Do you mind..." She retorted as she walked into the kitched and sat down.

Cooper followed Alaska into the kitchen. "Why?" He asked. Then he thought over it. "Oh..." He sighed, knowing she was crying. "You know why rain is so cool?" He asked, trying to cheer her up.

Alaska smiled "Why?" She asked him, her mother had told her a old legend, the legend of the rain wolf, whom she was named after.

Saya kicked Angel off the stairs."Um..Um.." She studdered.

Saya looked at him and tears began to seep threw her eyes "I-I...You-you...us.." She studdered and beagn to jump off the stairs, her heart ripped.She landed on the ground and decided to stay there, there was no point in moving.

Angel looked at Saya and whimpered "Its ok.." She said soothingly, they were alot like sisters.

Alaska sighed as she saw Saya, she knew she would be ok.

"There's two reasons actually." He said. "Ever heard of the Rain wolf? Well a long time ago, there was this wolf named Alaska. When she was born, there was a terrible drought. Her mother and siblings died of it, along with the rest of his pack. When she grew, she understood, and did not want it to happen to the other wolves of the world. She trained in a small pond that she found. Every day, she would have nothing to drink, but she would sit and meditate in the pond. Everyday when she came, the pond would be a little bit bigger, until one day, it was a beautiful waterfall." He swept his tail in the air. "The water from the falls became so full, that it overflowed all over the earth. The wolves were filled with joy from the water, and they all went to see the wolf who had made it happen. When they arrived, though, Alaska was nowhere to be seen; she had disappeared with the drought. From that day forward, there has been no drought to even match half of its power. Some say it is because the Great Rain Wolf watches over us and sends rain when there is even the smallest bit of thirst." He smiled down at Alaska, who was lying on the floor. He curled next to her. "I've made my own reason to love rain though." He said. He wondered if Alaska knew his parents died during the rain. "When it rains, you can cry. You can cry and cry and never stop," he paused, "and no-one will ever know."
