Ali was utterly shocked when Jean resisted her. "But... H-how'd you do that?" She stuttered. "No-one can resist answering!" She paced. "I control minds! It's never failed!"

Mia just rolled her eyes. "Maybe you've got some glitches in your system after all..." She turned to Josh, who was speeding around in circles. "So are we gunna race or not?" She asked, cocking her head.

Alaska ran threw the woods, the ground beating her paws silently, her ears twitched as she heard wolves talking.She then saw them, infrongt of her, she had no time to stp, go around or under...so she went over.She leaped over the group of dogs with ease as she skidded to a stop, her black and red fur flaring behind her.

Mia rolled her eyes when a wolf popped out of nowhere. "Gee, with all of these distractions, we're never gonna race!"

Alistar growled at the newcomer.

"Sorry...I couldn't stop!" She said, she then looked down on her paws, they were in flames.She gasped and tried to blow them out, but it didn't work.So she laid down on her paws.

Jean jsut sort of shrugged and looked out to the new wolf. She just sighed as she thought, 'Here we go again.' She turned and walked over to Alaska, slowly, but cautiously, as if to not scare the poor thing. "What's your name?" she asked gently. "Where did you come from? And where are your parents?" she quickly added, looking around for any signs that there were other wolves in the area.

Josh just sort of pouted and looked up at Mia. "Maybe we shold go somewhere else," he suggested. He then started jumping up and down again as he got another 'great' idea. "You wanna come huntin' with me?!"

Alaska sighed "I don't know where I came from, I don't know my parents...Alaska." She looked at Josh and frowned "You don't want me to be here....I see." She closed her eyes, her emotions hurt "This always happens..." SHe said as she started to walk off.

Josh was suddenly ashamed for his actions, so he took one quick look at Mia, then to his mother before running up in front to the new pup. "Wait!" he said. "I'm sorry. I didn't know..." He sighed again and put on a more friendly smile before waging his tail in greeting. "I'm Josh," he introduced himself. "I have super speed!" He then went around the pup once to demonstrate for her.

"Sure!!!! I've got an idea! Let's make it a race! Whoever can track down the biggest prey in twenty minutes wins!" She yelped, grinning from ear to ear. "Got it?"

Ali snorted. "What's up with you and racing?" She asked Mia. "You know you'll always win, I mean, you can--" She was cut off by Mia shushing her.
"Hush! He doesn't know that yet!" She hissed.
"Oh, no wonder you wanna race him so badly!" She said, winking.

((Josh doesn't know that she can stop time, okay? Nobody does--except for Ali!!!))

Alaska flared up her back "I can generate fire...not much.I can run preety fast though.." She siad, her tail was still slung low.She then heard the thing about hunting "Ooh!Sounds liek super fun!May I join?"

Josh simply nodded to Alaska and turned back to Mia. "You're on!" he declared revving up his hind legs. She gave out aplayful growl before turning towards his mother, who just smiled all the while. "Just be back in time for breakfast."

"Don't worry!" Josh replied. "We'll be extremely careful. We promise!"

"Sure, you can join us! But I don't know if you'll be able to keep up!" Mia winked at Josh.
"Ready?" Ali said, being the racer girl. She grinned. "Get set." The three wolves crouched, ready to spring. Mia had her left foot raised. "GO!"
Mia stopmped her foot down. Josh was already to the edge of the forest, even though it had only been half a second. Alaska was a few yards over the starting line. Everything was paused in mid-stride. "Hmm... This will be easier than I thought." She trotted up to Josh, and unpaused time. "Hi there, Joshy!" She barked, before pausing the time again. She walked up again, each time he was a few yards farther. She repeated the step over and over, each time taking Josh by suprise by keeping up with him. Finally she got bored of her game and left time paused. She cantered towards the smell of elk, and saw a pack of elk. Some of them that were jumping were stuck in mid air. She sat down and tried to find the biggest one. There were two about the same size. She took down both easily by cracking their necks and dragging them back to the starting place, where she waited for the others to come. She grinned and resumed time, knowing no-one could beat her now.
