Nike smiled slightly, clearly enthralled. "So then..." she started,' every beast around me can be under my command?" she asked wonderingly. "And fire...you said it was your birthright...does that mean if another was named Zaro, would they also have the power of fire?"

'If there was another wolf named Zaro, fate would always be trying to bring us together so we could fight and the stronger one would survive and own all fire' Zaro said, looking at Nike's expression, how captivated she seemed. 'No beast would be under your control, just their blood, but blood is the life source, so if you chose to you could kill every living thing' he continued, 'but if your name meant soul or mind, then you would have control over an animal.' He looked away, she seemed a little...too curious. 'I would know if there was another with my name, I was taught how to sense it.'

Nike pondered about the thought of another with her name, and the ability over the source of life. "Can you teach me? I mean to sense if there is another with my name? I mean i always liked the idea of being...unique," she added with a smile.

'It will take a while to learn, you need to practice whenever you can' Zaro said, thankful that she didn't want him to teach her how to use her power. 'It is quite simple, you must sit and allow your mind to become comletely blank, then picturing yourself being outside your own body, like you are a ghost, and then extend your conciousness to every nearby living thing.' He sat down, letting his shoulders relax, 'you should start off looking for a certain species, and then look for a certain creature in that species, and then you can look for one with your name.'

Nike sighed and closed her eyes, trying to be as calm as possible. She tried to blank her mind, but images and memeories kept popping in her mind unexpectadly. She exhaled and opened her eyes, "maybe a little more direction on how to actually blank your imnd...i mean it seems a little harder than i thought" she looked down sheepishly.

'Well I find focusing on the actual blackness of your mind helps to keep unwanted thoughts away' Zaro said, and then took a sharp breath in. 'I have to go, i'm sorry, go with those wolves over there, you will be safe for now, we will meet again Nike but there is something I have to do first' he said, and then spun around and ran off.

Nike started to reply "OK ill- wait!" she cried. "Oi! you can't just leave!... Men....Tchh" She watched Zaro run in the distance, her mind swirling. She let out a dramtic sigh and slowly got up, glancing at the other wolves trotted in the opposite direction. She needed to thnik about what happened, and to practise blanking her mind. She sighed again, annoyed that he'd just run off, but at the same time she hoped he'd keep his word and see her again, she had many more questions to ask him.
