FreeFall awoke after half an hour, feeling, somehow, stronger. 'I swear FireClaw was talking to me.' Thought FreeFall, he stood up. He saw all of the other clans whispering to eachother, and then let out a roar of joy and agreement. He stood next to SunFire. "What have you been doing while I was out (as in "out cold")?" Asked FreeFall, half-smiling.

Thunderstorm just sighed heavily and looked over at Wolfbane, who was giving out more orders to his group. He's been so busy lately, and all that Thunderstorm oculd do was watch and wait.

Sunfire ignored him, she had something else to say. 'The Fire clan's great leader was murdered by Rockscales because of lack of food for him and his clan, and this war was started by a traitor trying to get the better of everyone, Whiplash is the traitor, he abandoned his own clan to join another just so that he could gather them to go to war, we have killed Rockscales and Whiplash is here somewhere, but with the joining of our clans there will be enough food for all and there will be no traitors, as there will be only one clan' she roared, noticing how many were paying attention.
Whiplash watched from the shadows of the forest. Most of the dragons from the other clans were listening to the stupid idea Sunfire was saying, who would want to join the clans? I should have killed her whe I had the chance he thought to himself angrily, growling unde his breath.

FreeFall smiled, he then walked off alone into the forest, thinking about alot of things. What would`ve happened if they had`ve stayed with FireClaw? Should he have killed RockScales? Where was WhipLash?

Whiplash didn't like where any of this was going, I will need to attack Freefall, but if I just go over to him and attack him I will be beaten. I will attack him slowly, first by going for his heart he thought, looking at Sunfire and Snowspirit and smiling.
Snowspirit watched Freefall walk off, it seemed like a good idea, she needed to have a swim. She headed off in the direction of a nearby river, but not the fast flowing one Freefall had fallen into.

FreeFall walked into the fire clan cave, exhausted, he fell asleep at the back of the cave. Not knowing what WhipLash was planning. He dreamt of seeing his dying parents right before his eyes, and the dark figure standing over them.

Snowspirit slipped into the cool water of the pool, the sun glinted off of it's surface and making the trees around it twinkle. She moved her tail from side to side slowly, the motion carried her towards the center of the pool, the deepest spot. With a joyful cry she dove down towards the bottom of the pool, being of the ice clan gave her an advantage in the water, she could hold her breath for longer and swim faster. Staring upwards through the clear water she could make out the dark forms of trees above her, and with a few beats of her powerful tail she broke the surface of the water and leapt high into the air before falling back into the pool with a happy roar.
Sunfire watched as all the dragons talked, she hoped that they would listen to her. 'Thunderstorm, I have to go quickly, i'll leave this to you' she said, and then walked into the forest. The coolness of the shade and the sound of the breeze was very tempting, and Sunfire closed her eyes for a second to enjoy them. They seemed to call to her, the very sky was pulling her towards it, and not wanting to displease the sky she spread her wings and soared into the air. She loved the feel of wind under wings and over scales, the feeling of weightlessness and the feeling that nothing could reach you ever, that you are safe. She pulled into her wings and allowed herself to drop towards the earth, but pulled up at the last moment, feeling as if she had left her stomach behind.
Whiplash followed Freefall and made sure that he wasn't going to get up for a while and then padded back into the forest. He knew where his victim was, she would be easy to kill where she was, so unprotected, and this time Freefall wouldn't get in the way, no one would. I will let hm choose, he can only save one he thought.

Thunderstorm nodded to Sunfire before looking up to see Wolfbane flying in with a serious look on his face. 'This can't be good,' he immediately thought before his son landed in front of him. "What's your status report?" he asked.

Wolfbane nodded in greeting before answering. "My group as secured the area in the east," he replied. "I'm still waiting for confirmation from the other three groups. But, Father...I still have a very bad feeling about this."

'You're not the only one,' Thunderstorm thought to himself before looking back up at the dimming sky. "If the war shall begin again at the shine of the first star of the night," he whispered omenously, "then it is a possibily that some of us might not live to see the next dawning ever again... Even in death can none of us ever rest peacefully like our ancestors before us."

FreeFall was dreaming, but it wasn`t exactly a dream, it was like a mix of a dream, and a connection to the spirit world. FreeFall walked through the cave, it was steaming hot and everywhere there was darkness, he had nowhere to go but forward, for he could see a burning flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. He approached the flames, and then out of the flames, FireClaw appeared, FreeFall could not believe what he was seeing. "FireClaw?" Questioned FreeFall, his eyes wide with surprise. "It is I young FreeFall, I have summoned you to the spirit world, and you must listen to my words carefully. Those who are closest to you, shall meet their doom if you are to fail, I have faith in you young dragon." Replied FireClaw, and then he vanished into the flames, and there was total darkness as the flames burned out, it was pitch black.

FreeFall awoke with a start, he calmed down when he noticed that it was only a dream. "What did FireClaw mean by "those who are closest to you" my parents have been dead for years, and I have no sibblings." FreeFall paused for a moment, his heart skipped a beat. "SunFire and SnowSpirit....."

Snowspirit pulled herself out of the pool, very refreshed after her swim. She shook herself down and then headed deeper into the forest, she knew this area like the back of her paw, it was a great place for hide and seek. She perched herself on a mossy rock and looked up, she could see the glint of gold that was Sunfire.
Sunfire looked down and saw Snowspirit. She decided to play a game with her, a game of hide and seek, only the loser will get wet. She swooped down behind Snowspirit and crouched in the grass, letting out soft purring noises to let Snowspirit know she wanted to play.
Whiplash crouched in the grass a bit away from his target, completly out of their sight. He waited, they would soon be separated and he would strike, the first he would wound badly, and then with the second he would make Freefall choose, choose one life over another.

FreeFall headed out of the cave and into the deep part of the woods, but unlike SunFire and SnowSpirit...This area was unfamiliar to him, and he was soon lost. "By the time I find them it would already be too late." Muttered FreeFall, his sapphire blue scales shinning in the occasional patch of light.

Snowspirit grinned to herself as she heard the soft growls coming from behind her. In a flash she had spun around and leapt in front of Sunfire, her eyes glittering. She batted Sunfire and then raced off to hide.
Sunfire growled playfully, she felt like a chick again. When Snowspirit ran off she waited a few seconds before chasing after her, she was out of sight but her scent remained for Sunfire to follow. After running through the forest for a few minutes Sunfire started to gain on Snowspirit, and her face lit up with glee, she would win this game.
Whiplash stalked after his prey, they were now seperate and all he had to do was get ahead of his target and strike. Guessing where she was going, Whiplash started in a large arc around them so he could head off his target without being spotted. He had been trotting for a while when he spotted blue against the green of the trees. Freefall?! He wo't get in the way, by the time he reaches his freind it will be too late for them both he thought, and carried on.
