Helga returned with the sweet smelling leaves. She covered Feather's body in them, then began looking solumnly at her head, which was bruised and swelling.
"You hit your head bretty hard Feather. What is my name?"

The new day came quickly, and Mike awoke to darkness. He soon realized he was covered in several inches of snow and he shook in off, looking around. Snow was falling heavily from above, the sky was cloudy and sinister.
He drew in a deep breath. Helga's prediction was right, after all.

Feather woke up and she could remember clearly what had happened. But, she hadn't remember what had happened before the nasty fall. She stood off and shook her black and white fur and said good morning to Mike.

"I knew it would snow. See? I told you!!!"
Mike looked at her suprised.
"I never knew you bragged, Helga. What out crossing the abyss?"

"If we get to the bottom alright, it shall be easy to cross. All we need to do is make some more rope."
"But whats at the bottom, Helga?"
"I know not, but we will find out."
With that, she went off to find more young saplings to use.
