Lena nodded. "I know." she said. "Now lets go get momma back."
Cachen nodded. "She'll be ok, she's tough, we all know it."
"My dear, you've shown them more than you know." said Aniu. "You always refuse to give up, you fight on." she said. "You give them courage. I know that they'd do anything to save you." she said. "Kai is taking it somewhat hard." she said. "But he's staying strong."
Mako went out and looked through a shed, there were many devices to tortcher dogs, including quite a few whips.

Kodi smiled "That's my girl." he rubbed her head lightly with a paw. "We need to meet Fang and Grandpa at the den." he said and took off.
Kai coughed, coming out of the den slowly. He had a few cuts on his face, but nothing serious.
Tai nodded. "She'll make it until we get there."
Katie nodded slowly. "I don't know. My daughters have owners, and Cachen...Cachen has a girl he's fond of..." she looked up "Pups grow so fast...It seems like yesterday they were only able to crawl on their bellies."

Lena took off after her papa.
Cachen nodded. "I'm glad to have family."
"You feeling better Kai?" asked Fang. "Might want to make sure the cuts aren't bleeding."
"I know." said Aniu. "But be glad you've gotten to see most of it." she said. "And you know, you could try for a second litter, you've got a long time until your too old to bare pups."

Kodi looked back and smiled, winding through trees until he saw all three pups talking in front of the den.
Kai nodded, pressing his face against the snow, seeing a few pinkish lines. "I think they're okay."
Tai nodded, tail wagging slowly. "So am I."
Katie sighed. "I know, I just...don't know if Kodi feels the same way." she said "I want a big family, the kind I never had...I want children, to carry on my family lines, and Kodi's."

"Papa, grandma is having more puppies, could you and momma have more?" asked Lena. "I don't want momma, Cachen, and Kai to be lonely..."
"Alright, ready to go back to the den?" asked Fang.
"Who wouldn't?" asked Cachen.
"Lena feels the same way you do." said Aniu. "She doesn't want you, Cachen, and Kai to be alone."

Kodi sighed, looking down at Lena. “It’s not as simpel for Momma and me.” he said, looking upset he could not say yes to his daughter’s query. “To have more pups is a challenge when two are fighting. Besides, she doesn’t want to let Cachen go; not just yet.”
Kai nodded slowly, shaking himself off for a moment. “Thanks.”
Tai and Goldie couldn't help but giggle.
Katie couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head slowly. “You know so much about my children.” she said, awed slightly.

"Alright." said Lena, a little disappointed but now secretly thinking on how to convince her siblings to potition their parents to have another litter. "Papa...Fang said Mako is a psycho, what did he mean by that?"
Fang nodded and lead Kai towards the wolf den.
"So how do you think Miss Kira is doing?" asked Cachen, remembering the nice Siberian Tiger they'd met during the second Sirum Run.
"Who do you think keeps Lena and Tai safe on their 'adventures' they take without permission?" asked Aniu with a chuckle. "I'm watching over them, I'm this family's guardian spirit, its my job."

Kodi looked down. Well, he knew he had to answer it at some point. "Fang thinks Mako has your mother. But, he is crazy. He makes dogs fight each other. I don't know if Fang knows anything else."
Kai nodded, following slightly behind Fang, looking a little tired.
Tai shrugged, giving a smile. "Remember when we took Momma to see her? You know, after she was better enough to leave there...She was so happy."
Katie blinked, raising an eyebrow. "Come again?" she asked, a little smirk appearing on her face. "What 'adventures'?"

LEna let out a worried whine. "I'm scared for her."
Cachen nodded. "She's a nice person." he said.
"Now you're sure your not bleeding?" asked Fang, for Cahcen's sake.
"I wasn't suposed to tell you that." said Aniu. "Forget I said that."

Kodi nodded, supressing emotion for a moment. "I know, Lena, I know."
Tai nodded, tail wagging slowly. "She is."
Kai nodded vigorously, too tired to speak for the moment.
Katie moved closer to Aniu. "No no, tell me...Tell me what Lena's gotten Tai into that I don't know about?"

Lena nodded. "But momma is strong, she's a tough wolf."
Cachen nodded. "And she is strong...we're all gonna need to be strong."
Fang nodded and lead Kai up to the den. "Hey guys."
"Nothing dangerious, usaually just a little farther into town or the forest than you'd like, which the town isn't a problem anymore." said Aniu. "I always watch over them and Tai does a good job of making sure her and Lena don't go too far."

Kodi nodded, gulping lightly. "She is, Lena."
Goldie nodded, placing a paw on Cachen's. "I'm strong if you're by me."
Tai smiled wide as she saw Fang, trotting up to meet him. "Hey, Fang!"
Kai looked down, sitting himself on the snow.
Katie rolled her eyes. "Lena worries me in town, Tai worries me being in the forest. Cachen's hemophobis, Kai's reckless neglegence for his safety..." she hung her head.

Suddenly something tackled Kodi and licked his nose. "Hey bro, long time no see." said Kodi's sister, Tiga.
"Papa, is this one of our aunties?" asked Lena.
Cachen smiled and nuzzled Goldie gentally, he loved her and she made him feel safe.
Fang nuzzled Tai. "How are you fairing?" he asked softly, wondering how she was taking this.
"That's what this guardian angel is for." said Aniu, smiling reassuringly, she hadn't told Katie everything those two did, not wanting to worry her.

Kodi gasped as Tiga tackled him, looking up with a smirk. "Unfortunately, she is."
Goldie smiled, snuggling under his chin. He made her feel the same way she made him feel.
Tai's ears lowered lightly, looking away. "I...guess I'm doing okay..." she murmured.
Katie smiled lightly, looking down still. "I already miss my children."

Tiga smiled at Lena. "So this is one of your pups?" she asked. "She's pretty, reminds me a little of your mate." she said, she'd seen Katie, they were friend but that was when the pups weren't allowed in town.
Lena blushed.
Fang nuzzled her. "IT'll be alright." he said. "We'll get your momma back."
Cachen smiled. "I'm glad we have so many good friends to help us you know?"
Mako came downstairs and put a bowl of food in front of KAtie. "Can't have you dieing of starvation or being malenurioused." he said and to remind her he was sadistic kicked her between the hind legs rather hard before leaving.
Aniu snarled in MAko's direction. "Katie, are you alright?" she asked.
