Shani smiled and replied "Ya, sure!" Then she pulled something from behind her, it was two steaks that the meat man had dropped."We can have these too." Shani said with a chuckle as she nudged one steak towards Eagle."Thank you" Shani said again and she was getting tired but she didn't want to walk home and she was full so she slowly fell asleep on Eagle's chest dreaming of Eagle and her running together with thier own pack and puppies and they were mates and everything was perfect, just perfect.

Balto ran up to Shani and started to talk frantically. "Shani Shani wake up wake up. Mom came to me in a vision and told me that our old pack is in danger. They are being attacked by wolverines." Wolverines were the worst things to wolves and the just hated them.

Shani awoke and jumped up and stammered "What?I'm so sorry Eagle but I have to go!I'm sorry for falling asleep!" Shani nudged Balto to show her the way and stopped dead and turned around and bolted back to Eagle "I love you!" She said as she licked his face and caught back back up with her brother and ran full speed.Her fur danced in the wind as the wind sang the song of freedom and love that only she could hear.

He was panting frantically as they approached the deadline. "Here we are." He said. There were wolverines all around them.

Eagle sighed as she ran after Balto. Shami came back and licked his face say the thhing Eagle wanted to hear. But before Eagle could say anything. I love you too Shani He said solflty. But Shani was gone Eagle ran form Nome wanting no one really around.
A howl came from the mutt known as Eagle.

Shani saw her old pack and she snarled at the wolverines telling them "Back off!". Then the wind sang another song , it sounded like a howl, it was howl!It was Eagle!Shani howled back telling him she was ok and that she was sorry she had to leave.Then she directed her attetion back to the wolverines who were now getting closer and closer and they said in thier crackly voice "Don't worry preety wolf.We won't hurt you!" They all swapped glances as they all chuckled and under the leader's breath she heard "Get them in 1,2....."Shani was now on top of the leader tearing him to peices "Get them Balto!Don't worry about me!" Shani called as the wolverines jumped onto her and then the others surrounded Balto.She threw four out of ten off of her back, they fell off of the mountain and died.She limped over to Balto with six wolverines still attacking her she fell onto her back and three of them ran off in pain.She still had three more on her back, but she still managed to get to her brother,then the other wolverines had came back , but with more.Shani now had ten wolverines on her back and they were mad with revenge because of the 4 dead wolverines.Shani threw them off of herself by biting them back, and she scared away the others just by staring at them.Shani had blood all over her.She looked like the demon her mother once talked about, a pure blood red she-wolf that killed everything in her sight.Shani was in alot of pain, she looked at her brother with pain in her ice blue eyes that had gone dull and then she fell to the ground in pain and let out the worst and sadest sounding whimper half howl any wolf has ever heard.

Eagle heard a howl on the wind. He started to run traward the sound.
I am coming lover pleacse be well. Eagle said to himself. He pushed his body to its limits.
Puting all of his speed to use. Eagle smelled the air the smell of blood was hearvy in the air. Egale howled back.

Balto saw about ten more wolverines coming towards her. He jumped in the way of them and bit one of their necks. That one died. He let out a big howl and saying that he needed help to fight off the wolverines. He then got four more of them, then another, etc. . Oh I hope Eagle will get here soonHe thought. Then he saw the appearance of Eagle. He then howled letting him know that he would take care of Shani and that he could fight off the other three wolverines.

Eagle didn't hear Balto's howl. All he saw was Shani his mate on the cold snow. Bleeding badly and then he saw wolverines moving troward Shani. Eagle luaged into the fight with a rage that that would strike fear in the hearts of full wolves. He toar into one wolvweine killing it.

Shani looked at Eagle who was still fighting off wolverines and whimpered "Goodbye my love, be careful" as Balto carried her away back to her den.

Go now I will hand these creatures. Eagle snawrled as he killed anouther one. One of the wolverines jumped on to Eagle's back. Eagle rolled on his back foring the creature from his back but the fur was riped from his back. Pain shot throught the Wolf-dog but all he saw was red.

Balto put her down and said, "I will be right back sis." He said and ran. He let out a howl letting Eagle know that he was coming to help. He then pounced on the wolverine that tried to kill Eagle. He sent blood gushing out of the wolverine's neck. That one died. " There. That was the last of them. Are you ok?" Then an evil wolverine voice came out of no where and said with a chuckle, " Well, well, well. What do we have here. Two mutts that killed my pack. Now, if you want to say that you defeated all of us, then, what are you waiting for? Come and get me." He said with another evil chuckle. Balto got mad and pounced on the evil one. He sent more blood out of the neck than ever.The wolverine threw Balto off his back. "You'll never kill me!"Balto's back slammed against the trunk of a hollow tree and crashed through it. " Eagle help me!" He said lunging for the wolverine that was going straight for Eagle. He sunk his pearly white wolf teeth into the neck again. Blood squirting every where. His brown eyes turned yellow as he raged with anger.Then Jenna appeared. She lunged for the wolverine also and started to gnaw at the ankle causing it to fall and her get on top of it.
The wolverine swapped and hit Jenna's right eye and caused her to fall and drag across the snowy ground. This gave her a scar on her eye. " Heh heh heh. You worthless dogs will never defeat me." He said and threw Balto off his neck. The wolverine was too weak to fight any longer.Balto pounced his last pounce. But, before he did that, he told Eagle, "Go, tend to her. Take Jenna home also. I don't want her to see this tragic event."Jenna listened.Balto sank his red blood covered teeth into the wolverine's neck once more causing him to die.The creature gave out and died.

Alright Balto let's go Jenna. Eagle said as trunned to the female husky.
He started heading trowards Nome walking slow for Jenna to keep up. Eagle was engar to see Shani again and to get her on her paws again.

Balto took the dead body and threw it in the tall grasses near by. Jenna could keep up with him and stumbled. (Like in the movie) "Oh, that hurts." She said. She tried walking again. He paw gave in again. She was hurt. "Sorry for slowing you down Eagle, but, I'm hurt." She said. Her paw was badly bruised.
