Katie growled under her breath as she heard Rose talking about her as if she wasn't there, calling her a monster. Humans are just chickens, they get scared of everything, and then they attack it in fear she thought to herself. She walked a bit closer to Rose and Monolith, Monolith had picked the annoying human up and Katie half hoped he would crush her.

May was beginning to trust him slightly but she shoved it to teh bac of her head hastily. "No! Rose is right!" She refused to look into his eyes like he had told them and said, "If we all do have good and bad, then why is it automatically the humans' fault? How do you know that your kind didn't start it? It's very possible you know! There's now ay you can prove that we satrted this war! there is a good adn bad on each side and a different view of wrong and right as well!"

"I know because I am several thosand years old and saw it happen." said Monolith. "Humans discovered the other creatures and what did they do?" he asked. "They decleared them a menice for no reason other than fear, however the creatures are not innocent of blaim ether, than refuse to try and make peace with the humans out of fear, to make them understand." he said. "Like it or not, humans started this and before I leave this body, I'm going to stop it." he said. "I was sent from heaven to stop the senseless violance, that is my perpose." he said. "There is only one way to do that, to show both sides how foolish the conflict is. Make them see that both have equal right to this earth and can live in peace as they've done when the humans didn't know the creatures were with them." he said. Monolith picked May up and mad her look him in the eye too. "Do you honestly believe what is happening is right?" he asked. "Look me in the eye and tell me what you think deep down in your heart."

May gulped and stuttered, "I.... Yes.. I..." She stared into his eyes, her mind working furiously. She couldn't hlep but thinka bout waht her thoughts were when she first met these creatures. How she had been locked up... How panicked Travis had been... And, finally, she knew. "No," she gasped with a shudder.
JAckson chuckled hoarsly. "well teh time of running is running short, Lils. We're running out of time. Our time is almost up, Lily! You have to help me help our race!"

Rose pursed her lips in silence as she looked Monolith in the eye. She refused to admit that she was wrong. She looked away slightly to slow down the whirl that her mind had become.
Lily sighed and rolled her eyes at Jackson. "You know what my motto is? 'Run when you can, fight when there's no other option.' I think we all would have a chance if we just ran away. You may not want to admit it, but we've already lost this war."

Jackson spuna round infront of her and grabbed her arms. "Ya know what my motto is?" he breathed. "'Live today, fight tomorrow'. Tomorrow's comin' awful quick, Lily. What is living if you have to hide and sneak around just so that you can see another dawn? This isn't living. Now, we have a chance at taking our freedom back and our lives back. Do you really want to pass this up?"
MAy looked at her sister, feelign slightly guilty that she had broken so soon. She loved her family and she hated to admit that she was wrong but why had her mother always been so clingy over them? Why would Travis look so afraid when he came?

Lily looked away from him. "You have no idea what fighting can led to. Who cares if we're free in the end? Do you know how many of us will loose our lives just so those that get lucky and survive will have a better life? A life that the dead will never have? I don't know about you, but that doens't sound at all right to me."

JAckson sighed softly and released her arms, though he didn't step back. "But isn't it enough if some of us survive? If our families can survive and have better lives? Wouldn't it be enough if our race could live in peace? Isn't that enough of a goal? Some of us would be free, Lily. And besides, I'd rather die fighting for somethign bigger than myself instead of running like I always have."

Only by restoring ballence can this horrible future be prevented."

"Well, when you put it that way..." Rose said, still not meeting his eyes. Finaly, she looked up and sighed in defeat. "I guess I'll help you 'fulfil thus purpose' of yours." She looked down again. "So, can I get down now?" she asked with slight annoyance in her voice.
"I am not risking my life or the life of my family for a lost cause," Lily said in a final tone.

Monolith set her down. "I am sorry for being forceful, I had no choice, you are vital, for we are connected." he said. "Allow me to show you the future this world went down up to my arrival." he said. He showed the group the images, a massive war ending with a silent earth, ruined cities, and death everywhere. "This is the future we must prevent." he said. "But fate can always be changed, that is why I came." he said. "The future we must create is one where the ballence is intact, where humans and creatures can live peacefully once more." he said. "To do that, we must show both sides how foolish they have been in their senseless war."
"Wow..." said JAcob, unable to put into words the terrible future they had to advert. "...This is intense." he said. "So we've...we've got to save the planet?"

"And how exactly to you plan on doing this?" Rose asked Monolithe. "I highly doubt that the Council will listen to any of us, not even me or May now that they've seen us with you. And after all the Council's done to them, will the... others, the creatures, listen to reason?"
"For your information, I have!" Lily snapped at him. "My whole family. You have no idea how hard that was for me. And its only after you loose everything to you realize that you can't win."

"Will not be easy." said Monolith. "But the ceatures in Sleepy Hallow will listine, their Wickens have forseen me coming and know my perpose." he said. "To conence the Council will be dangerious...we must find a way to show them what I showed you...to do that, we'll have to go through Crusher and his army and get me within range of them so I can show them the terrible future this world heads for and the past where peace between the races existed." he said. "And hope that convinces them it is time to stop."
