"Alright, Chess or Checkers?" asked Tera.

"That is possible but he only protects her, we'd probably be reasigned to another family member." said Suzuku.

Rosa smiled, looking at both games with a grin forming. "Um, checkers?" her tail wagged wildly.

"Definately." Leron chuckled "The nobility never has a shortage of those to be protected."

Tera nodded and got out the checkers and set it up. "Which color?"

Rex watched intently, wagging his tail.

"And no shortage of bad guys to defeat." said Suzuku. "Which is good or bad depending on how you look at it."

Rosa flipped her hand lightly. "Oh, color doesn't matter to me, Tera." looking down at Rex she couldn't help but giggle inwardly as he watched so intently.

Leron nodded. "Good for us, bad for them."

Rex tried to eat a spare checker.

Rosa nodded, looking to Rex as he tried to eat a checker. "Oh, nah, you don't want that." she picked him up slowly. "Are you hungry sweetie?" she asked as she set the Shisa on her lap. One hand patted him gently and the other set up her side of the board.

"Definately." said Leron, unsheathing his sword with some difficulty.

Rex nodded and licked his master.

"Where did you get your sword?" asked Suzuku.

Rosa nodded, getting up quickly and calling a servant. She asked the girl to bring her some rocks from the garden. She smiled, kissing the little head. "You'll have your food soon, Rex." she said, walking back in, not before bowing to her guards.

Leron sighed with nostalgia in his voice. "My Father. He wanted my brothers to become samurai; but they all became fishermen, merchants, and some became priests of temples. I became a samurai, and he gave it to me, before he died."

"While we play, want to here another myth?" asked Tera, watching Rex wag his tail.

OOC: Would it be ok if some of theses myths have more to do with the story? Like Rex was real, have the others show up to?

Suzuku nodded. "I know you've done him proud." he said. "I got mine from some monks in the mountains, they called it a weapon of peace because it can only kill if I wield it backwards."

Leron tilted his head. "So...you use the sword techiniques in the reverse motions? And it works?" he asked, seeming a bit confused.

"Alright this is the story of Daimajin, or Majin for short." said Tera. "Majin is a deity in Japan that lives within a giant samurai statue." she started.

OOC: Alright, though most of theses legends may or may not be real, they were in movies supposedly based on legends.

"No." said Suzuku. He drew his sword. "The blade is on the opposite side than a normal sword, so when I swing it normally, it bashes instead of cuts, making it unlikely to kill if done correctly."

Rosa nodded, tilting her head. "Daimajin?" she said, looking down to the chessboard. Soon enough, the servant came back and placed the assorment of cleaned garden rocks on a woven mat. She chuckles, sorting them out and holding one before the little shisa.

OOC: I totally understand. ^^

Leron nodded, looking at the blade. "Interesting, very interesting way of doing things."

Tera nodded. "An evil warlord ruled that land and greatly abused the people." she said. "The villiagers found hope in the detity known as Daimajin, which they prayed to protect them. The warlord hopped to dishearten them by destroying the statue and sent his men to do so. The tried to drove a giant spike into the statues head but blood came out of the statue and Daimajin awakened."

"The monks said that if I can use this sword effectively, I'm a warrior of peace." said Suzuku.

Rosa's eyes widened at Tera's tale. "Blood? Actual blood?" she asked, completely dumbfounded.

Leron blinked, eyes locked upon the backward blade. "Wow, you're right, completely backward. So, you can't kill with the blade?"
