"My mom taught me...you know before dad drove her away." siad Fang, slightly saddened thinking of his mother.
"Glad it feels better." said Dusty. "We'll get out of this, Balto's with us and even with a broken leg, he's better than a good luck charm."
"Actuelly its just as painful no matter which gender you are." said Jenna. "I tried to walk across clothesline after your father, my hindlegs slipped." she admitted. "It really hurt."

"Well he's never not gotten home." said Dusty.
"Was being dum, I was more adventurious before you and your brothers were born." said Jenna. "I'm just glad there was a pile of snow for me to land in...and lay in till the terrible pain subsided." she said.

Dusty licked the tear from May's snout. She hugged her with her forepaws. "Its alright, we'll get home."
"Boris arguing with Muk and Luk." said Jenna with a chuckle. "They woke it up."
"That is not being true! They were being throwing snowballs at me so I was trying to tell them to stop." said Boris.

"Maybe Steele's old sled team, they're still not retired." said Fang. "And if we don't get rescued, we'll just put Balto and the Musher on the sled and pull them back to Nome once we get the chance."
