Fang nodded. He giggled a little at Tai, finding her crush cute, he wasn't like his father so he probably wouldn't go after a girl younger than him but he'd wait till Tai was older then see. "That's the spirit Tai, we'll save the town and all be heroes just like your grandpa." he said. "And of course save your momma, she's very importent to all of us, she's like a sister to me, probably why your brothers call me uncle."
Lena licked Kodi back. "You know me, I love adventcher." she said. "And for once you actuelly want me to." she said rolling her eyes. "Who's gonna be the musher? Your musher papa?"
Cachen licked Kai. "But normally its not this importent." he said. "Thanks for helpping me be brave grandma." he whispered to Jenna.
Balto still wondered why Jenna wasn't effected. He thought it over and finally smiled. "You know Jenna i think in a way, Rosy's repaid you for all the kindness you gave her when she was sick." he said.

Kai laughed, sitting down slowly. "Hmm, I suppose you're right. It is very important." he said.
Kodi nodded, rubbing Katie's head ever so tenderly. "I..don't know. It might be. There are more mushers than I can count in Nome." he chuckled.
Jenna blinked, turning her head to see Balto. "Hmm? What do you mean?" she asked, very curious to know what he meant.
Tai nodded, her fluffy tail wagging to and fro slowly. "Well I'm glad you and Grandpa and everyone we'll be there. You know, to protect us?" she giggled, fixing the fur on her chest oh so subtly.

Fang chuckled. "Of course I will." he said. "You know Tai, I'm glad you guys all care about me, I think you know the bad thing my dad did right? Well because he did that, most of the dogs in town won't trust me." he said, pinning his ears slightly.
Lena nodded. "I know, I don't care who is the musher as long as momma gets better." she said, determined.
Cachen nodded. "And like I said, I look like Grandpa so I guess I need to act like him now, after all this is a lot like how he saved Nome too." he said.
Balto chuckled. "Well you barely moved from Rosy's side during the Diptheria outbreak before, no other dog did. I think maybe because you spent so much time around a strand of the illness that couldn't effect you, you aren't being affected by one that could, make sense?" he asked.

Tai smiled, sweet blue eyes almost intrancing. "These dogs are stupid. To stereotype you because of your Father...." she placed a paw on his. "You don't deserve to have a Father liek that, and he doesn't deserve a sweet son like you." she said in a soft voice, still red on the cheeks.
Kodi nodded. "I know Lena, I know. But for now, just rest up okay?" he nuzzled her sweetly.
Kai nodded, rubbing Cachen's head. "Yea, and you'll find a cute little husky in Juneau won't you?" he chuckled.
Jenna nodded. "It makes...perfect sense." she smiled, eyes closing. "I'm glad I did at least try to help you, Balto."

Fang smiled and licked Tai on her blushing cheek. "Thanks Tai." he said. "I know, its just like how my dad made fun of yours for being half wolf, then he ended up mating with a half wolf and having me, ironic huh?" he asked.
Lena nodded. "I'll try papa but I'm scared I'll have another nightmare, the last one was so awful." she said, pinning her ears some.
Cachen blushed. "Well I'm not looking for one but if I find one I hope she's as nice as grandma." he said.
Balto nodded. "I'm glad too..." he came behind Jenna and put his head over her shoulder, sitting down and wrapping his bushy tail around her some to block her from the cold wind and keep her warm. "I'm also glad you chose me." he touched his nose to her's. "Are you still coming with us this time? We need all the help we can get." he said.

Tai gasped softly, looking down as Fang licked her on the cheek. She leaned back up, licking his cheek in return. "It is kinda funny that he'd be such a hypocrit." she giggled tenderly.
Kodi chuckled, licking Lena's nose gingerly. "Lena, nightmares don't comes in pairs." he said, ruffling her headfur.
Kai grinned, walking around Jenna and laying down. "Well, Won't it be cute to see you with some blonde husky?" he laughed.
Jenna nodded, nuzzling her nose into his. "Of course, Balto, this tiome it's different; I'm not going to stay her feeling useless like I did before." she smiled. "I"m ready to take action.

Fang cocked his head. "You're smart aren't you?" he said, touching his nose to hers. "Another thing is he wanted to have your grandma as his mate, now if that had happened, his pups would of been half-breeds too since he's a malmute and she's a husky."
Lena nodded and laid down beisde her momma. "I'm glad to have you..." she yawns. "Here, you're a good papa." she said, licking her father before falling asleep and quickly starting to have the good dreams from before.
Cachen blushed. "You mean one like Dusty? I could like that just as long as she's nice and I could get along with her."
Balto nodded. "I wouldn't have it any other way, besides even if I did leave you behind, you'd be on my tail before I knew it." he said with a little laugh as he nuzzled her lovingly.

Tai's eyes widened, giving off a deep blush when Fang pressed his nose to hers. "Mhm.." she giggled, eyes closing slowly. "Maybe it's the wofl part that bothers him..." she said in a soft almos whispering voice.
Kai nodded, wrappign a paw around Cachen and givign him...well, something like a noogie. "Heh, the baby gettin a girlfriend. That'd be fun, eh?" he laughed, his tail wagging back and forth rapidly acorss the old wooden deck.
Jenna nuzzled him back. "Oh, Balto. You know me better than I do." she grinned at Balto, eyes half closed and tail wrapping around his. "I lvoe you so much."

Fang giggled. "Yeah maybe." he said, in all honesty he did like Tai and Lena the same but Tai seemed more of a possible girlfriend than Lena. "Tai I tell you what, when you turn 3, I'm yours alright?" he whispered to the pup. "But don't tell your sister, she'll get jealous."
Lena's legs began kicking again, like she was running which in her dream she was. Once again her legs colided with Kodi but hit him in the jaw this time.
Cachen growled. "Why'd I have to be the youngest? If I was born before you I could call you baby." he said.
Balto nuzzled her back moving his tail to make a heart shape with hers. "I love you too, you're everything a dog could want in a mate, pretty, smart, and so loving." he said to his mate, nuzzling her more.

Tai smiled wide, looking to Fang with a giggle. "You-you mean it?!" she asked in an excited, whispering tone. Bright blue eyes shined with a deep enthusiasm.
Kodi yelped lightly, rubbing his jaw gently. He was luckly his daughter wasn't using her full potential or his jaw would have been broken.
Kai chuckled. "Oh, come on, Cachen. Don't be sore. You look the best as the youngest. You ever see the yearlings in town? They think you are ADORABLE!" he said with a sudden burst of charisma.
Jenna chuckled, glancing back. "Oh, aren't you the sweetest wolfdog..." she giggled, amazing hazel eyes closing gingerly.

Fang put his paw on the little pup's chin. "Of course, unlike my dad, I'm not a liar." he whispered. "Besides, you're a good pup, when you're old enough, I'll be happy to be your mate." he whispered.
Lena's legs kept kicking in a run until her body exshausted itself and she slipped into a deeper sleep.
Cachen blushed. "Really?"
Balto smiled. "I love you Jenna, you saw the good in me when no one else wanted to, then you gave me six sweet pups that have all made me very proud, we're meant to be togather." he said, keeping the heart shape with his tail and her's. "Hey Jenna, who's gonna put up the aroura this time?"

Tai blinked, tearing her head away to hide the blush that seemed to almost turn purple form the intensity. "Thank you," she whispered, bringing her head back up to meet Fang's gaze.
Kodi chuckled, layign his head back down as slow as he could.
Kai nodded, looking up. "Yea, they were all gigglign and talkin about how you looked so cute, like a plushie version of GrandDad." he grinned.
"I.." Jenna giggled. "I don't know. Let's all set it up once we're about to leave." she smiled, looking up at Balto once more. "I still can't believe I remember the first tiem you showed me."

Fang chuckled at the little pup's blush. "You're welcome but don't tell anyone." he whispered. "You're really cute, you know that?" he asked.
As if she sensed Kodi putting his head down, Lena's toungue came out to lick her father's cheek. "I love you papa." she said, still asleep.
Cachen blushed almost as much as Jenna. "Well I am." he said.
Balto nodded. "It was the second most beutiful thing there." he said, nuzzling his mate. "You were the most beutiful thing I'd ever scene, and still are." he said. "And remember what you did to Steele after that? Youch! That had to hurt." he said, remembering the smell of Steele's burnt fur.

Tai giggled at Fang, lookign up from her lowered head.
Kodi blinked, nuzzlign Lena ever so gently. "I love you too, Lena." he said with a Fatherly tenderness.
Kai nodded. "and girls LOVE that! That's why we want you to stay a baby as long as possible." Kai winked, nudging his younger brother.
Jenna smirked, thinking back. "Now that was my second Favorite part of that entire night." she laughed, shuddering at Steele's memory.

Fang chuckled. "But remember, you have to wait till you turn three ok?" he asked.
Lena's tail wagged, hitting the side of Kodi's head, showing how happy she was.
Cachen chuckled. "The only girl I want is one that I can love, say you think there's a pup out there somewhere like Grandma?" he asked.
Balto nodded. "He'd had that coming for a looooong time." he said, licking Jenna's cheek. "You can be as sly as a fox when you want to be, and trust me, I've been tricked by a fox once." he said, blushing a little from embaressment.
