Kodi smiled as Dusty let out a tiny growl.
"Don't worry, it's just me" he said smiling, then layed his head down, let out a yawn, closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Jackson smiled as he felt the two licks, but didn't open his eyes, and kept sleeping.
Kodi opened one eye, and saw his two daughters giving his son a good night lick.
"Those kids..." he said quietly and smiled, then went back to sleep.

Jackson opened his eyes, perked his ears up and raised his head. Then he turned his head to his sisters and Dusty, who seemed to be having a bad dream.
"Mom?" he asked and walked to them.
