I saw it in theaters, when I was three. I thought it was a good movie. I saw Balto 2 on TV during its premiere, and suddenly got hooked on both!

What year was it in theaters? I don't ever remember seeing it other than on the VHS [then later DVD].

I've watched Balto since I was like pff.. 2? Around that time. And since the first time I watched it I was like OMG awesom (actualy being 2 i was like "Doggie!")

I got hooked in the first grade. Our teacher had us watch it.

^ Really? That means I was 5! ...well no wonder I don't recall seeing it playing in theaters.
Course my family didn't and still don't go to the movies all that often.

I've been hooked since the first time I saw it on VHS, which was around 2000, I think. It was one of my favorite childhood movies.

I searched in Joe2 (You.tube) for "Hostel 2" and actually dont know how i finished in the Balto trailer, i think "maybe i download that movie later" but the months past and one day, while i was eating cheese i remember "i dont have nothing to do, well, think think..." (two hours later) "Oh! I know! i will download that movie of that weird wolf, but... what was the name of the movie¿?¿?¿?" two days later i remember the name of "Voalag" or something like that, search on intenernet and find "Balto" i think "Balto!? pfff sounds kinda funny, well i gonna download that thing"

When I watched it, I become more crazy than I was I couldnt sleep for 2 days! :L

I honestly didn't know anything about Balto when it first came out. When I was around 8 years old, I remember one day walking around Walmart in the DVD section, and this one certain DVD caught my eye. It was labeled 'Balto.' There was a wolf on the cover - I was obsessed with wolves. So immdiately I knew I had to have this. When I first got home, I popped it into the DVD player and had my eyes glued on the TV until the movie ended. I was literally in awe on how wonderful the animation, plot, etc was. The next day, I shown it to all my friends, and like me, they were hooked aswell.

I guess my obsession with Balto started when I was around 6 or 7 years old when I saw a commercial for Balto 2 on TV. I had only seen the first Balto about once or twice at that time, but I was still pretty surprised to learn a second one was out so my mom rented the movie for me and it instantly became one of my favorites (remember I was only 6 at the time). After that it started to show on CN a lot and I always watched it when it came on, but as the years progressed I just lost interest. Then about a year ago I saw the movie Alpha and Omega and I really enjoyed it. I then read somewhere that it had some aspects of Balto in it and then I suddenly remembered how I always loved watching Balto 2 as a kid, but I could only remember 2 scenes from the first movie because I only saw it once or twice when I was 4, so in the hopes of bringing back some good memories I watched the first Balto online and after I saw it, I was immediately hooked! I was hoping the second Balto would be the awesome movie I remembered as a kid, unfortunately it turned out to be a "I really liked this movie " moment But regardless I still like watching all 3 Baltos. Overall watching Balto 2 as a kid and Alpha and Omega got me hooked on Balto

I was born three years late than the commercial so what got hooked on to Balto was by discovering animashes then came Balto and I borrowed the movie from the library then loved it.
