I guess everybody has a defensive nature, but on this thread, it seems to maul everyone around them. Even the innocent ones. Now, I'm not saying I wouldn't defend myself, but I'm not gonna go start a whole flame war ON a thread about it, I'd probably try to talk it out with the person or persons over PM. I just don't understand why everyone has to be such an... oh what's the word I'm looking for.. animal when it comes to defending themselves on this site. T_T

Then lock it. I won't beg for this to remain open. Enough damage has been done already. And I just really don't care anymore. I've tried, but the selfish nature of many people on this site can sure KILL that. :|

(My original post attacked no one, bashed no gays or bisexuals, and was actually a surrender to the hard reality, and a way of my indicating I didn't want to cause any problems for any author WITH REGARD to the rules, and also that I was tired of the personal moral and ethical dilemma everytime I faced that. Others brought the attacks.)

Okie dokie now. I've said what I thought several times and I really have no need to repeat it. This topic has turned into a messed up flame war and unless it calms down you can call just face the power of my locking-stick. :B This whole fanfic issue has gone to a point where it would be better to not even have the fanfics around anymore. If you must speak your opinion don't do it so agressively. Even if you started out calmly...if someone flames you, do the proper thing and just ignore it. It's not really that hard.

It's not really the fanfics that are the major issue anymore. It's the drama that comes from the subject. That's one of the reasons I want to get rid of these fics....because of all the people who can't just ignore it. T_T

If there must me flame, it's better to put all of it in one topic (as Steet said, more or less). If the flames starts again I'll lock the topic (or someone else will).

I'd really rather there NOT be anymore flames here. There's been enough already. And, as I have already said, that was NOT the purpose of this topic. Others made it so. But that is the nature of a certain percentage of the membership on this site. To flame and be intolerant of those who have opinions and beliefs different from their own.
