Cammile shook her head and pushed the collar back to him. "You take it. I don't want it."

Volta pushed it back to her, "No.." he said before running out of the cabin and off to town.

Cammile growled, and stared down at the collar. She picked it up and flung it across the room, landing it in the fire pic, which of course wasn't lit. She stormed off back into the woods.

Volta came up to his owner's sisters' house. He pawed at the door, hoping he was there.

The door opened as his human let him in.
"Is it Bullet?" the human's sister called from the other room.
"No, it's my dog, Volta." he replied. "I'm sure Bullet'll come home some time."

Volta tilted his head at the name Bullet. Wondering who that was.

"Samantha," Volta's human said, going into the kitchen. "Bullet will come home. He's a good dog, im sure he'll come home."
"He's never run away before, John." the sister cried.

"Ran away..." he looked up and barked a couple of times, trying to say. 'i'll help.'

"What's he barking for?" Samantha asked her brother.
"I think he wants to help." John said, grabbing a photo from the counter. He knelt down and showed the picture, a picture of a tall calm looking black dog, to Volta. "This is Bullet. He's lost and no one can find him."

Volta tilted his head and sniffed around the house, hoping to find his scent soon.

There was a single canine scent all around the house.

Volta smiled when he caught the scent, he went to any door that you can go outside with and sniffed to see if the same scent was still there and a little more recent.

The humans watch the dog take off.

Volta soon was outside, sniffing down the scent.

Bullet's scent was all around the house, leading first in circles, then off into the woods.
