Furahi looked to Kejeli, both their eyes/eye met, she motioned her head to follow her,

Kejeli nodded, and placed Moto gently on the ground, rubbing the cubs head with hers, she followed her younger sister, "What did you want to talk about?" she asked

"You lied, to the queen," she said out right.

"You did too if I recall, I lied so the girl wouldn't get in trouble, you remember what it was like with mother. I lied to protect your hide from the wrath of her claws," she said quietly so Kiara or Mto couldn't hear them,

"Yes I remember that but we were really close to the royal family, they wanted us to be proper, but look at how that turned out, you lying to me saying you'd join Simba's pride, but all you wanted was to work with Zira, and you lie to me again saying that you switched sides, but were still working with her...now you back with us again...how do I know thats not another lie?" Furahi said her voice getting louder.

"I'm telling the truth now, back then I had Viza perfectly protected until Merah's birds found out I've been hiding her. Now I have a bigger purpose in my life, to take care of my only living cub, give her the life that she's always wanted, friends a bigger kinder family. You want me to tell you the truth then? fine...I've always been jealous of you and everyone, you and everyone had people that loved you, mom or dad didn't love me the way they loved you, everyone had someone that loved them. That's one instance of truth, the second truth, When we were accepted into Simba's pride, I wasn't excited, I didn't want anything to do with a pride that had nothing but rules, that my truth...but here is something that lead to a good thing, if I hadn't left, I wouldn't have had Viza, and Viza is the reason why I'm back here, you never had a cub before. Mto has been getting into trouble and I can tell she tired of these rules to like I was...I was only helping her, Yeah paws down she snuck out, but can't you people see she's only trying to help get her brother and sister back. I'm trying to do that as well, you seeing lying can also be a good thing in this instance, I'm putting my bloodly neck on the line for those cubs. If I wanted to, and I'm saying if I wanted and was still with Zira and Merah, those cubs would not be worth saving. Now tell me Furahi what have I done wrong, other than the things I've stated," Kejeli said, not even raising her voice but keeping it steady as a beating drum.

Furahi was speechless she couldn't even get in a word in edge wise, "...I'm sorry Kejeli, We were just worried about Mto, we didn't know where she was, as long as she was with someone, someone as a strong fighter like you then I can breath easily now, but tell me, why haven't you brought back the heirs of the throne?"

"They were guarded, by Merah's Vultures, and the other outlanders," Kejeli started, "And before I could get to them, Zira took them to the highest point in the Outlands showing them the view, much like showing the view from Pride Rock, that's when I noticed Mto being harassed by the two vultures, I got her out of there as fast as I could that is all I can say."


Ajali came flying up to Merah to tell her the urgent news of what just happened, "MERAH!!! MERAH!!"

Viza still snuggled in Enamayama's paws, stirred, her eyes slowy fluttered open, she yawned showing her small white cubish fangs,

Mto looked back at them after Kiara nuzzled her. Good thing about being alone is that you learn to read lips after bit of time.. That's when she spoke up. "Actually, I was trying to get them back in the first place. That's when I saw them with Zira... but I kind of found something odd... she seemed to be kind with them, like... like... she was changing, I don't know. Hard to say really, but that is what saw, and I don't really know what to do about it." She turned back to look at Kiara. "And I'm sorry I sucked away.." she apologized.

"Yea, She seemed so peaceful around them compared to what you have told me, and I've seen," he said then a flash o lightning went through Mto's mind and seeing her eyes through the rain and then Kiara and Kovu next to each other in shock. Mto frighten as could be before she finally saw the present again, A starry night just about to end into the morning light.
Mto sighed then looked out. "Think you can teach me more about the kings of the past mom?" she asked kindly, wanting to switch topics

"Okay momma," said Mto then she yawned and tiredly walked to where she would normally sleep in the den, and fell asleep as soon as she laid down.

Kejeli looked over at Viza who was wobbling sleepily, she leaned over to her a picked her up, holding back a big yawn to prevent from dropping Viza. once inside the small den, Kejeli set her down, nuzzling her girl. Purring softly, "I love you Viza," she whispered softly in the cubs ear which made it twitch.


Viza who fell right to sleep once again, mumbled in her sleep, a quiet soft whisper. "I love you too mommy."


Ajali who had left the Outlands to stretch his wings, noticed Kejeli and Mto leaving, he cocked his head to the side, hitting his air breaks. he high tailed it back to Merah, "Merah!!! You'll never believe who I just say."

Kiara curled up around her cub and fell asleep herself.

Merah sighed, trying to rest up for her plan. "Who?" she growled, looking to her henchman.

Ajali landed on the ground, "I saw Kejeli leaving with that cub you were trying to kill...remember the one you nearly poked a hole in it's tail?" he said rather fast.


Kejeli curled around her little cub, humming softly to her bundle, she was humming Viza's lullaby to her. "Close your eyes my little cub, sleep well, sleep tight, hear my voice and you will know your not alone on this cold night, Mommy will be here when you wake. As you sleep, you will be safe and sound, as long as mama's still around. Sleep well, sleep tight." Kejeli ended the lullaby and slowly closed her eyes.


Viza moaned softly in her sleep, snuggling up closer into her mothers neck purring softly.
