Ruger said "Thank you, Cal. Let's get the pups to the cave." He grabbed three of the pups carefully and waited on Calico to get the other three.

((I say the two pairs can become great friends.))

Calico grabbed the pups.

((Thanks and let's put them into our bios too, so we don't forget them again. Well, at least I won't forget them.))

Ruger started walking towards the bigger cave and Twilight followed him close but at a reasonable distance.

Calico padded slowly into the cave.

Ruger followed and let down his pups at a spot that is designated for them and them only. He looked at Calico and said quietly so Calico was the only one who could hear him "Why are you moving so slowly, Cal? You are making me very nervous."

Twilight went to a spot designated for him and Luna only. He looked at Luna and asked "Do you think this is a good idea, Luna?"

"I just gave birth, Ruger!" Calico said.

"Yes, Twilight." Luna said.

Ruger licked Calico and said sweetly "Sorry. I didn't forget. I am just on edge right now, Cal. I am having regrets already because I have another male in my territory who I don't know. I hate being so dominant."

Twilight sighed and said quietly to Luna "I think this is actually a bad idea. You know how dominant I can be and there is another male in my territory who I don't know. It is putting me on edge right now."

Calico flicked her ears in respone. "I undnerstand."

Luna nodded. "I dont like them."

Twilight nodded in agreement but said "I know Luna. I don't like them either but we need to try to get along with them. Who knows, they might just be the nicest pair of canines in the world. We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Let's try this for a few days and see what happens."

((Could we fast forward to where they actually start talking to each other. Which I think should be tomorrow morning. Could we do that?))

The next morning Calico was awake.

Once Ruger was up, he looked at the two wolves and seen that Twilight was still asleep but couldn't tell about Luna. He looked at Calico and asked "How long have you been up for, Cal? Are they asleep?"

"Not long." Calico said. "And I think so."

Ruger said "I think it's time to talk to the wolves. Well, that is when they wake up. We've got to talk to them or this tension is just going to build up until I attack Twilight or he attacks me. So, what do you say, Calico?"

"Agreed." she said.

Twilight woke up and asked "What's all the ruckus about over there? You woke me up." He licked Luna and said softly into her ear "Wake up, Luna."
