The male wolf said while growling very aggressively "What do you want, beast?"

Ruger tilted his head down and said "Like I said, I am sorry for what I have done. Please, forgive me. You see I have pups and I've got to find a bigger cave for them. I couldn't find any except for the one that you guys were in. So, I challenged you for it and I won. But if you want it back then you can have it."

The male wolf became calm and said "Yeah,....well, we can share the cave. It is big enough for both of our couples and your pups. Would you agree to that babe and then would you agree to it..... Wait what is your name? I never caught what your name was."

Ruger looked up barely, still in a submissive stance and said "My name is Ruger."

The male wolf said "My name is ........."

((What would be a good name for male wolf?))

((not sure. my female is Luna))

((Luna and Twilight sounds good. Doesn't it, Tadie? By the way, who's Squeakers and Echo?))

((Squeakers was my cat. *sniff* and Echo is my dog.))

Luna looked at Ruger, her amber eyes curious.

Ruger looked up suddenly and seen Luna looking at him. He asked very friendly "What?"

"Nothing." Luna slinked behind Twilight.

Ruger looked down and said lowly "Please, don't be scared of me. I only did what I did for my pups. I couldn't just let them die. I must have a bigger cave but why can't we share. Please......I beg you not to be scared of me.......I beg you."

Luna raised her head. "It is up to Twilight weather we share it or not. It is not the way of the wolf for the female to have her say."

Ruger nodded impatiently and said "I know that. I am part wolf myself but I don't want anyone to be afraid of me because I am a very nice canine. Please, don't be afraid of me."

Twilight looked at Ruger and lowered his guard while saying "May we see your mate and pups? I want to meet them."

Ruger looked at Twilight threateningly "If you so much as look at my pups funny, I WILL kill you." Ruger calmed down and said "I am sorry about that. I am a new father and I am extremely protective of my pups."

Twilight looked at Ruger and said "Okay. Let's go......Ruger."

The two males started on their way to the cave that held Calico and Ruger's pups.

Calico winced when she was the wolves.

Ruger said "Cal, these are the canines I talked about. They pose no threat to you or the pups. Don't be afraid."

Tiwlight lowered himself into a submissive stance and said "He speaks the truth. We pose no threat."

Calico bowed her head, but still nudged her pupies closer to her belly.

Twilight looked up and asked "What is wrong? I won't harm your pups. Your mate made sure of that."

Ruger looked at Twilight and said "You shouldn't have said that."

Calico snarled.

Ruger looked at Twilight and said "Step outside for a minute. Out of earshot and eyesight please. I must talk to my mate."

Twilight nodded his head and said while heading out "Luna, come."
