Shintara couldn't believe what she was hearing, "Malka, when i woke up and saw you gone, i've waited for you, but months went by and you never showed up, i thought you were dead the whole time, i couldn't live without someone," Shintara got closer to Malka, "And then i found Dragon, my long time cub mate, i don't know what to believe anymore," She then turned away from him, "You should of told me that you were leaving to control your anger, i would've understood, but since you left without telling me, how can i tell if your telling the truth about you leaving to control your anger?" Shintara was on the verge of crying, "I don't know anymore, you hurt me, i've been hurt before, but never like this, and to think i thought we would be together forever, but now i don't even think it would work anymore, i can't have two mates, that will make me look bad, even in front of the three cubs in there," she pointed to her den, "But if you want me then i'll have to break Dragon's heart, and i don't have the heart to hurt his, i don't know what to do that,"

Kuna then got up, "We are going now, we are going to talk to the leaders one way or another," she then walked the long journey to the Pride Lands

"I just lost my mother Malka, you remember her?" Shintara asked, "Well i have felt a great deal of pain yeah not as much as you, she was the only one parent that loved me." Shintara looked at the ground, "I still do, but i have Dragon, someone that looks deep in me, someone who knows how to peak my interest," Shintara stopped, "But i can't betray someones love, he hasn't done anything to me," Shintara paused, "And i know what your going to say to me, you are going to say that i betrayed your love, well now we know the pain, if i don't go with you by being your mate, then you'll hate me, if i do Dragon will hate me, i don't know what to choose," Shintara too was beginning to cry, "I don't know what to think anymore...When you left me i thought you were using me, you leaving made me fell unwanted, you had anger problems, that i can handle, i could've helped you out with it," Shintara was breaking down into sobs, "It made me fell like i was dead to everything, i was considering of killing myself, but i stopped when Dragon came," she then looked at her leg which had been broken, it was held but it was tensing up, which hurt her, but at this point she didn't care, at all, "Malka i loved you, but now i love Dragon, if you think that this is wrong then...." she couldn't say the rest.

KUna heard the roar, and smiled, she walked up to Malka, "Well hello there," she said, "You seem familar, do i know you from some place?" she asked

"Well if you want it that way, then i guess i'll have no help killing Dragon, and i need a male to help with that particular job, and maybe just maybe, i could've goven you the happiness you deserved, but since you want to be left alone i guess i'll do that, if it were you and i together against Dragon he would fall, just like Scar,"

Shintara watched as Malka went off, she walked back in and sat down sobbing still

Dragon walked up to her and licked her tears away and said, " Why would anyone hurt you like that?" He asked nuzzling her cheeks.

"I Don't know everyone i loved hurts me in a way, they seem to toy with my emotions, i am as fragile as a flower," Shintara said, "I am a lioness with a very fragile heart, i can't take another heart break."

"I'll never hurt you Shintara. You are very special to me and you know it. I'll never leave you. I'll protect you even if it does mean killing that Malka." He growled to himself tears streaming down his face silently no emotion shown on his face.

Shintara smiled as she felt Dragons touch, but in her mind she was saying, 'What if Malka does end up getting killed, yeah i still has feelings for him, but not as a lover anymore, but more as a brother,' she then opened her eyes and shook the feeling, maybe Malka was thinking the same thing, she then remembered what her and Dragon about to do, "Umm Dragon, i still feel that i want cubs of my own i mean i'm old enough, and i think i;m ready," she said smiling licking back at Dragon,

Dragon smiled at her and smiled, "Okay. Let's go find somewhere private to go. But, wait. We need to leave the cubs with somebody." He said.

"No Promises will be made, Dragon is a strong lion, it will take time and trianing to bring him down," Kuna said, "He will fall like all lions do," KUna then turned around, "We go back to the outlands and train you to be the best killer you can be."

"Hmm how about we leave them with Sasha and Huaro, i trust them enough i mean they have cubs of their own," Shintara said

He smiled, " Okay. I'll go drop them off and I'll be back." He smiled and nuzzled her.
