Kira watched the kittens play with them. "It is doing my heart good to be seeing you once again." she said to Katie. "I was missing you."
Cachen tackled Kai and started playing.
Steele chuckled. "Not yet, she's still getting used to them." he said. "I'm glad to see her happy though."

"I was missing you too." Katie murmured. "I knew you were alive. You are the last creature that reminds me of my parents so much." she grinned "I remember how threatened Papa was when you first met him."
Kai began to wrestle with his little brother.
Meike smiled. "I've peeked in on her a few times at night. She dreams about you." she chuckled. "Then again, who wouldn't miss their Daddy?"

Kira nodded. "But he was eventually warming up to me." she said. "Your parents where being good wolves."
Cachen laughed, liking to play.
Steele nodded. "So long as their father threated them good."

Katie smiled sadly. "They were. Papa even protected me and pups when they were born." she murmured, nuzzling the little kitten by her. "I remember when my pups were this small..." she shook her head, looking up to Kira. "I'm just glad an old friend still lives."
Kai grinned and gently tugged his little brother's ear.
Meike smiled. "You did...there were plenty of times Cain could've hurt her. And you protected her." she smiled at her friend. "You're a good father, Steele."

Katie nodded. "I named that one Bashkei..." she said, smiling.
Cachen giggled. He licked his brother's chin and then nibbled his nose.
Steele nodded. "I guess I did, I didn't want her to ever get hurt, she always seemed so inoccent and fragile."

Katie gasped, looking down at the little kitten, then back to Kira. Her eyes watered in happiness. Standing up, she nuzzled the tigress softly, tears falling down her face.
Kai laughed and pulled his nose away. He began to tickle his little brother.
Meike smiled, her face full of joy and light.

Kira nuzzled her back. Little Bashkei squirmed in and nuzzled them as well.
Cachen started tickling him back, laughing.
"I just wish I'd not chased Sable off...that was one of my worst mistakes." said Steele. "She'd have been a good mother for Goldie."

Katie looked down, laughing through her tears a little Bashkei. "Bashkei...Heart of A Mountain...that's what Papa told me, anyway." she grinned, licking the little kitten.
Kai laughed, squirming on the ground as Cachen tickled him.
Meike smiled. "It is not too late, Steele."

"A-au-aun-aunty." cried the little kitten, saying his first word.
Cachen stopped when he heard the kitten cry auntie.
"Think we could find her...think she'd take me back?" asked Steele.

Katie gasped, smiling happily. She nuzzled Bashkei softly. "That's right, aunty..." she said softly, her tail wagging rapidly.
Kai smiled, laughing. "Looks like we have kittens for cousins, Cachen."
Meike nodded. "With that charm? yea...she loves you anyhow."

Kira smiled and nuzzled her baby. "His first word, you should be glad it was you." she said, smiling.
"And a Siberian Tiger for an aunt." said Cachen, smiling.
Steele was shocked. "She...she does?"

Katie laughed softly. "I am..." she felt a few tears go down her face. Kodi came up, nuzzling his mate comfortingly. "I'm so happy, Kira..." Katie murmured, looking at little Bashkei.
Kai laughed softly, rubbing his little brother's head.
"You two are destined for one another." said Meike, grinning. "No matter what, soul mates always love each other. Just like Goldie and Cachen...They're meant to be together for the rest of their lives." she turned to Steele. "Just like you and Sable."

OOC: *Nods*, yep. That was fun. Better edit the title to tell the mods this is finished and not to delete it.
