Webster is a wise and intelligent man who was changed into a dictionary when the enchantress cast the spell on the Beast's castle. This character likes to enlighten people by proposing several synonyms of a word that they can not understand. He is kind, comfortable with complicated words, and seems to be a noble man, although he fears of the Beast when he is angry, and prefers to hide rather than to suffer his murderous anger.
