Ronno Hires a Hit-Man
He turned when he heard the snap of a twig. He furrowed his brows.
--You'll have to stalk better then that to succeed in the job I'm hiring you to do...-- He stopped short. There was nothing on the trail.
--And YOU will have to learn to never underestimate me, foolish stag.-- Her voice came from above.
Ronno looked up in the cedar tree, and there she was. The cougar grinned sneakily.
--You must be Ronno.--
Ronno sneered at the cat.
--And you must be the heartless killer I've heard so much about. Why don't you come down from there? I'm not too fond of looking up to others.--
The cat wasted no time in leaping from the tree and landing opposite of Ronno; towards the open meadow.
--I don't make a habit out of coming to the meadow in broad daylight.-- She said as she turned to face the stag. --So let's make this quick.--
--Very well. Here it is: the forest is ruled by a stag called 'Bambi'. He's a prince and he has many followers, and I refuse to face him and his legion by myself. I want you to take him down.--
--You want me to fell your opponent? How underhanded.-- She responded with a whip of her tail.
--I just want you to wound him enough for me to overtake him with ease.-- Ronno snapped. --And I'll have no back-talk from a hired-hit man like yourself.--
The cougar let loose an ear-piercing roar. Ronno jumped a little, but stayed his ground.
--Do what I ask...and I'll allow you free reign in the forest. Hunt what you want. Once it is mine, I won't care.--
The cougar scowled at the mahogany stag. She didn't like him in the least. But, she knew she couldn't refuse him either. Man had taken over her territory and burned it; now she was homeless. She had no choice.
--Very well.-- She stepped towards him, her head lowered and her tail swishing. She bared her fangs. --Just tell me where I can find this Prince...--

I can see Ronno doing this in his scornful old-age XD He's hiring a cougar to kill Bambi so that he could inherit the forest.
A real splice we have here! Ronno rendered from The Great Prince, the cougar rendered from Kiara (Lion King II) and the background is from Spirit.
I had lots of fun with this ^___^

Hmmm. Yes, yes, that is very interesting... it gives me the sudden
thought that Bambi migrated then migrated back. XD |

Well, wrong cougar location or not, I think this is a pretty
interesting idea xD involving other animal species instead of just
deer is pretty unique! That's also why I've decided to create a story
with the caribou in! xD |

Well, the animators for the 2nd movie didn't go by any particular
location (that I know of) like the animators in the 1st movie did. But
being they did put a porcupine character in the 2nd movie, it's safe
to say that it took place somewhere in the pacific northwest (i.e.
Oregon, Washington and parts of western Canada; where porcupines are
found, as well as small herds of white-tailed deer). |

Really? Huh! I did not realize that... The first movie's animators
actually went to a state park in Maine and most every location in that
movie is real. Including where Bambi was born! |

I always imagined Bambi taking place on the west coast (there are
small herds of white-tailed deer in Oregon and Washington). It also
makes sense since there's a porcupine in Bambi's forest, and
porcupines are only found in the Pacific Northwest  |

Weeeellll, nice but the cougar must've escaped captivity; they aren't
native to Maine, where Bambi takes place. |
