"If you dare to even mention his name..."
The fawn's head met over and over again. They were training to fight in war. Both were young, both were determined and both were meant to be warriors one day.
The had gone head-to-head for some time now, and eventually, the blue-eyed fawn broke apart.
"I need a break", he panted. His opponent glanced at him and nodded slowly. He actually wanted to continue, but a break wouldn't hurt anyone...
They stood there for a few moments. Then, the brown fawn smiled at Lyall.
"You are a really good fighter for being...you know."
"What?" Lyall narrowed his eyes and stared at the other fawn.
"Well...the son of that traitor, Herla."
Lyall froze. His eyes narrowed even more. He charged at the other fawn, glaring at him with the deadliest of stares. The brown buck imediately backed up, shocked by the fire that was raging in those deep red eyes.
Lyall backed him up against a tree. His opponent was shivering, his ears were shaking. But Lyall didn't care.
"Don't EVER speak of him again when I'm around. If you even mention his name, I will beat you up so hard that you won't be able to walk for three days" he hissed. "Got it?"
"G-got it."
"Good." Lyall turned away from the buck and brought himself in fighting position.
"Let's continue."

Yeah, Herla is kind of a touchy subject when Lyall's around. He doesn't like his father at all, it seems...
I just wanted to render him as a young teen, that's all. And the situation seemed just too fitting. ^^
By the way, if you want to adopt the other buck fawn, you may do so. ^^
