Nocere swung his head wildly, his son can't just die like that! But it was over, And the ditch closed up, leaving the deer staring at the ground in wide open surprise, making them look like lunatics in the eyes of anyone that could have passed.
" He's .... He's .... He's gone!" Bambi was as surprised as the rest of the deer. Suddenly, Lojalis hit the ground, whining in pain.
" You ok?" Nocere asked as his wife lay on the ground.
" Yeah, I don't know what happened, I had a huge pain by my chest" Nocere nodded. Lojalis limped off with Faline.

The doe stood alone in the hunters cage. She was here under a sentence of death, and she hoped to complete her mission. She had allowed herself to be caught, so long as she could get a grab at the powder her threatener so longed for. Her whole fawn hood life flashed before her eyes. The buck called Chestnut that she had been forced to part with, her darling, her crush, her lover, and even though the other deer hated her, they watched every smile and flirt, until at the last moment she had been cruelly and involuntarily shredded from him, the only buck she cared for. Eventually, she let her mind drift and she came to thinking about the last few months ....
She lay shivering in the snow. She had been alone for 15 years now. Maybe her day of justice would come. She had been still for so many hours that a thin crust of ice had settled on her fur, covering her eyes. As she shivered, wondering when the end would come and her life would be over, she felt a shadow above her, and a buck was carrying her away.
She opened her eyes. A blanket of white stretched as far as she could see. All the familiar features had disappeared, hidden under the lumps and hills of the snow. High above her the sun sparkled, picking out glittery crystals preserved in a long term frosty winter. She stood watching this mystical light. A large buck stood above her, making her tear her eyes from the distant wonders.
" Listen, I saved you, and now you owe me one!" The buck claimed. The doe was frightened of such an unusually ... translucent buck. He was not complety see through, but was not solid, and although she could do no harm to him, he could easily harm her. Bearing this in mind, the doe cleared her mind of Chestnut and the winter wonderland, and acknowledged his request, and listened to his request.
" I want you to bring me a powder called Scobis cristallo vita, on sentence of death, should you fail" His voice became silky and threating. Later this would lead her to the position she was in.
The doe was jolted from these memories by the humans talking about the very thing that had brought her here.
" Ah, here it is, scobis cristallo vita,or powdered crystal of life if you like" The first man chuckled. Scobis cristallo vita!!!, just what would take her back to her old ways of life, not running about doing life threatening errands. After a few moments of tense near-silent jiggling of the lock, the doe burst through, and grabbed the Scobis cristallo vita.
" Get her!" The first man shouted. The second man tried to load up the tranquilizer, but shaking hands prevented him from his task. Eventually, he loaded up the gun, and shot a tranquilizing dart at the retreating doe, and it fell deep into her leg. The doe whined in pain, and turned round, a wild fire in her eyes. She shook her head violently, and ran towards the men.
" Run away!" The first man yelled, and dodged as the doe fell head first into an experiment, that caused the whole lab to explode, in a bright sheet of orange flame. The doe stepped back, shocked at what she had done, watching the dying figures of the men desperately struggle. All their work, gone, vanished, never to help humans with their ways, all of that vanquished. And more importantly permanently gone, their lives. Tears dripped off the does cheeks, as the orange flame reflected in her eyes. As she turned, she remembered her captures words
" Even if you have to wipe out a species, get me that powder!" His words still rang harshly through her ears. She ran towards were she hoped was the correct direction of her caputre, but she got lost. And yet the forest seemed familiar. Memories of her and her father running through here, looking for a place to hide, and her father running to defend him self. He was still alive though, the doe knew that, and she had to carry on looking for her commander. After hours of walking, she heard a twig snap.
" Commander?" She asked nervously. An ear splitting howl rang clear through the night air, and the doe realized she was being followed by wolves. All thoughts of everything she was thinking of drained from her mind, and she ran as far as she could, but the tranquilizer was still taking effect and consequently she tripped on a loose tree root, and spiraled into some unknown light ....
Nocere stood, moving backwards and forwards, trying to open the ditch again. Bambi eye rolled.
" Try this" He joked, trying to lighten the mood and stepped on were the ditch was. Not because of Bambi, but because of what seemed a large spinning rock that appeared, the ditch opened. Bambi leaped back, as a doe appeared in front of them, dazed out of breath, and holding a strange powder in a test tube in her mouth. The doe had a dart in her back leg, and she looked up to see some strange bucks. Then, the world went black.
" Is she ok?"
" What's her name?"
" Were did she come from?"
" Who is she?"
" Is she from the future?"
" Is she from the past?
" QUIET!!!" Bambi yelled to the arguing deer.
" Hey, her eyes moved!" Lojalis, who was recovered from chest pains noticed. The doe opened her eyes. All the deer looked eagerly at her. Perhaps they startled her , because she leapt back, screaming something about burning fire and humans dying.
" Calm down!" Bambi tried his best, but he was met by a swift kick in the face from the doe.
" WE ARE NOT GOING TO HURT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!" Faline yelled, to which the doe became silent, and blushed.
" Sorry" She said.
" Now what's your name?" Lojalis asked. The doe was silent.
" Answer her!!!" Vertrou demanded. The doe hunched up even smaller.
" VERTROU!" A voice came from the entrance, and all the deer turned to see Bukuri in the entrance.

The impatient deer paced around the den. How long would it take for the doe to get him Scobis cristallo vita? the death threat was drawing near, and yet how could it, seeing as she was hid granddaughter, but nobody knew. The stag for one was not about to go back into the fiery eternity of hell. There was only one option, he would have to find her. However, since it would take to long trking her, he decided just to conjure up were she was. The stag was in for a surprise.....

" BUKURI!" Vertrou yelled, bounding happily over to his wife.
" I''m Sanft" the doe bravely announced. The other deer turned to look at her.
" Like Chestnut said?" Faline asked.
Sanft again thought about all those times she and Chestnut had had together, and OH! Since these deer knew him, maybe they could lead her to her long left crush.
" Can you show me Chestnut? I long to get to know him again. "
The other deer looked at one an other. How could they explain this?
" Well ... You see the thing is Sanft ... It goes like this ...."
