All characters ( C ) Disney exept Koko ( C ) Me ( My version of Ronno's mother ) Bambi and Ronno's mother I use there names as Fawn and Koko, I'll do that in other chapters.

" Run Bambi run! " Bambi's mother Fawn shouted from behind him. " Don't look back, keep running! " 

Bambi ran towards the den. His mother jumped at an instinct time, and narrowly missed the bullet. Bambi and his mother got to the den saftley. 

" Don't worry bambi , I'm here now" she coaxed. " It's alright " The young prince was shaking from head to hoof. As the snow began to fall stedily outside, the young prince and his mother slept, under the twinkiling stars, both of them snoring gentaly. 

The next morning, Bambi decided to go out to see his friends, It was spring now, and Bambi's spot's were dissapearing at an alarming rate. The young prince was happy, and when he found his friends, he could tell them about the scary happening that ocured. The first place to look was the blossem meadow, were Bambi meyt Faline near. Thumper and Flower, by luck were there, so was Faline! Bambi gulped. His mother helped him build confidance, but he was still kind of shy to Faline. 

" Hi Thumper! Hi Flower " He called " Hi ... Faline " He said softly. 

" Hi Bambi! " The threesome called back. Blushing, Bambi entered the blossem meadow, idely kicking up blossem in his wake. 

" I herd about last night " Faline whispered. 

" You did?" Bambi asked

" Yeah ... " Faline cut off. After a few moments of awkard silence she said 

" Must have been pretty scary " 

" It was " Bambi said. After he had eaten some blossem, he herd a calling from near the den. 

" Bambi, time to come home! " His mother called. 

" Got to go guys " He muttred. 

" Coming mom! " He yelled, dashing towards the den. 

The next day was groundhog day. Bambi asked his mother if she would come with him. 

" I will" She smiled, and took Bambi towards the ground hog. 

There Bambi crashed into Faline. 

" Hi Bambi!" She giggled. 

Bambi backed of, crashing into a mound of snow. His mother gasped.

" Hi Faline" He said shyly. His mother tutted. Just then, friend owl came down, greeting the queen of the forest and to say how glad he was she survived. 

" I just got lucky" She smiled modesty. " I'm VERY lucky to have Bambi. He's what matters " Bambi groaned silently. 

" MOM!" He glared. His mother, just rolled her eyes and said. 

" Yes your highness, I won't embarrass you any more in front of your girlfriend." She laughed, looking towards Faline,  who burst out laughing. Bambi got allot redder. 

" I'll show you" He thought silently, looking the other way. 

" Any way, I now pronounce ... the GROUND HOG" Friend owl announced, pointing toward the hole. All the forest animals looked hopefully towards the hole, but not a sound. 

" Let me talk to him" Bambi's mother said softly, and walked towards the groundhog hole. 

Meanwhile, Flower came and joined the rest of the group, just as a cloud passed over head. 

" I hope the ground hog see's his shadow * Yawn * More winter " Flower yawned. 

" Your crazy " Thumper said. 

" The ground hog has agreed to come out " Bamb'is mother commented. 

The ground hog came out, covering his eyes. 

" No shadow, no shadow .... NOOOOO shadow" Very quickly, the cloud over head disappeared. As the groundhog opened his eyes, he saw his own shadow covering the ground. 

" NOOO!" All the forest animals moaned, except flower, who smiled. 

" More winter. " Flower was happy, unlike the other forest animals. 

Just then, Ronno, a brown fawn jumped out and accidently crashed into the groundhog. 

" Oops, sorry every one " He said, looking at the angry circle of wildlife. 

" Didn't look were I was going" He stuttered off. 

" It's all right " Bambi's mother said. Ronno blushed.

" Yes your majesty. " Then he saw Bambi. 

" And the Prince" Ronno bowed his head looking at Bambi in the eyes. 

" Who are you?" Faline asked. 

" Names Ronno!" He said, showing off in a slightly less bullying tone. 

" And these are the boys, stab and jab!" and with that, a boost of confidence, he scarped a near by tree with his antlers. Unfortunately a pile of snow fell on top of him. Bambi's mother helped him out. 

" Thank you ... miss" Ronno blushed, he had been let down in front of Faline a very pretty doe, Prince of the forest,a potential friend, and Bambi's mother, the queen of the forest. And not to mention all the other forest animals. 

" Ronno!" His mother Koko called. 

" Coming!" He yelled, and ran off to his mother, and the two of them walked off in silence.

As the disappointed forest animals returned to there homes, Bambi's mother turned to him. 

" Nature takes it's own course you know " 

" I know" Bambi sighed. " But still. " Bambi and his mother walked in silence to the den, unaware that Ronno, was spying on Bambi, still seeing him as a potential friend.  

The next day, As Bambi and Faline took a short walk down to the meadow Ronno crept up on them. 

" Hiya ... ur . Bambi!" He said. Bambi and Faline looked startled. 

" I herd about what happened at the meadow, are you ok?" He asked. 

" Yeah, I'm fine" 

" Good" Ronno said. Bambi stared. 

" I mean It's good that your alive, better than losing a mother and you. " 

Bambi raised an eyebrow. 

" Never mind" He said, turning to go. 

" Oh by the way ... That's a very pretty doe you have there" He said winking. Bambi blushed, and Faline started crying with laughter. 

" Was that * Te hee* Ronno, the one who scared * Teeh hee* the groundhog?" Faline burst out laughing. " He was very funny!"

" Yes, It was. " Bambi was aggravated by now. " Sure, he was hilarious. And he walked back to the den, Faline laughing all the way.
