I notice that when you're making a character, you can make it either a Fan Character, an Avatar/Fursona, or For roleplaying Purposes. What is an Avatar/Fursona character? I just don't get it. And waht does "For Roleplaying Purposes" mean? Please answer, i really want to know what that means, and thank you everyone who answers :)

Fursona basically means your own animal-form. Avatar is, of course, your personal image (that little picture of Bambi you have there is your 'avatar', like the little picture of my wolfdog Phantom is my 'avatar').

Roleplaying is sort of like a group-story where you play your character and one or more persons play their character, and you just sort of write to each other back and forth describing scenes that the characters are in. There's a roleplaying chat box here and you can check it out for an example.
