Personality:   Like his father and staying true to his name, Lyall is a very loyal fawn, no matter if towards his friends or his mother. He would defend them with all his might, not caring about the costs. Especially towards his mother, he is very devoted and wouldn't let anything happen which might hurt her. 

He is bright like his mother and good at figuring things out, but unfortunately, he is also quite hot-headed sometimes and tends to rush into danger without thinking. He does not hold back anything when he’s upset, and his mother often had to move him away before he could get into serious trouble.
Lyall always stands up for himself and if he has a opinion, he has a hard time letting go of it, which Is why it’s hard for his mother to convince him not to see his father Herla as a traitor. His family and his herd are sacred to the young buck, and after being told of Herla’s treachery by Nacht, he slowly starts to believe that his father must’ve been awful.  Not only did Herla betray his herd, he also left Rora, who is clearly saddened by this.

He is very energetic and determined and dreams of one day being captain, like Nacht. On the other hoof, he is compassionate to those whom he likes and can be quite charming sometimes.

Likes:   his mother and friends being happy, hoping he can one day confront his father, his mother telling him stories of better times, swimming, dew, fog in the morning, playing, cheering other deer up, getting stronger each day so he can protect his family, training to become captain one day

Dislikes:    someone being unhappy, that Herla left his mother and herd, rain, extremely hot weather, being told what to do, his mother being hurt, the war, being too small to go and search his father

History:     Lyall was born to Rora, a former doe of Herla, in the spring after Herla’s betrayal. Being Herla’s son, he didn’t lead a easy life, because for a reason unknown to him, the higher ranked bucks always treated him different than they did with the other fawns.

He also noticed that most fawns knew who their father was, unlike him. But the does were scared of speaking about their offspring’s sire. His case was totally different. He had never met his father, and his mother told him it wasn’t possible.

One day, while his mother was grazing on the meadow and he was chasing after a butterfly, two large bucks appeared. His mother seemed scared by this and told him to stay behind her. He did as he was told and watched how the unfamiliar buck talked. After some time, they walked over and asked Rora if Lyall was the son of a buck named Herla. The fawn watched how his mother nodded with fear in her eyes.

One of the bucks, his name was Nacht, said that Lyall was unfortunate for having a traitor as a father. Lyall demanded to hear more, and it was a pleasure for Nacht to do so. He just didn’t say the truth.

Lyall couldn’t believe what his own father had done. While he grew up, Nacht often told him about all the bad things Herla had done and was planning to do. Lyall, being nothing but a child, believed it despite his mothers desperate tries to convince him that Herla was a good buck.

He wants to confront his father and ask him why he had done what he did, and make him pay for betraying his herd.

RTB:   is the Grandson of the Great Prince, lives in the herd which formerly belonged to the Great Prince, his father Herla lives in Bambi’s herd and helped Faline escape Trar’s herd
