Crusher/s:
Kanani(C) FalineLover, Sevin, Open
Mate/s:
Undecided
Friends:
Soleil: This is Mercutio's sister, who he loves dearly. He would never do anything to hurt her. He's always there for his sister.
Corvin: While Mercutio isn't Corvin's first choice of company due to his loud, boisterous ways and hot-bloodedness, Mercutio's fond of the buck, mostly because Soleil loves him. He trusts her judgement, and doesn't know anything about Corvin's mental problems.
Saturio: One of Mercutio's closest friends. They've been friends since fawnhood.
Plutivio: Mercutio's other closest friend, Plutivio was Mercutio's main shoulder to lean on after having his very bad run-in with Kanani's sister during the summer before he got the chance to meet up with Soleil and Sorcha again.
Rivals/Enemies:
Elliott: (E/R) Mercutio HATES Elliott with a passion. He would love to see the buck out of the herd, but can't do anything about him. He's terrified that he'll get to Sorcha or Soleil... Less Soleil, though, given that she's tailed by Corvin, Edel, and Zayn. All three are apparently competent. Sorcha, however, constantly flirts and puts herself in the line of danger. He hates to say it, but he can't stand the notion of Elliott getting Sorcha.
Sorcha: (E/F) Mercutio hates to say it, and really, really doesn't want to admit it, but he fell head over hooves for Sorcha somewhere along the way. He hates that he loves her, and loves to hate her. He isn't sure why, and sometimes feels like he'd just as soon never want to see her again when he thinks too hard about the situation. He won't tell anyone, and honestly, he's terrified of being in love - he's had hard times with does before, and doesn't want to deal with love, as Mercutio is afraid that he'll get hurt.
Character Traits
Personality:
The bard, the musician, the story-teller. Mercutio is all this and more. The jester and the joker – Mercutio loves joking and rough-housing with his friends, and has a sharp wit to him. Some say he has a sharper wit than antler. He has an odd way of playing with words and always makes jokes, even in the most inappropriate times. He also seems uninterested in does – in fact, his more crude nature is most often expressed when referring to does, and he tends to make rude remarks about them. Not a fan of feminism, and often jokes about the moral of does, but only semi-seriously. Mercutio dominates with speeches and allusions, always finding a way to talk. He always says what he means and what he thinks, and he thinks quite a bit – a buck of many words, spoken clearly. Often carries off in his stories. He’s the kind you’ll see prancing about and telling tales. He has a deep dislike for love – not the word, but the concept. He oftentimes rolls his eyes if something of love is spoken, and seems to has a specific opinion when any deer passes and mourns that they love and are not loved back – if love be rough with you, you be rough with love. Bite it for biting. He’s never seen without his friends Plutivio and Saturio. Due to his position in the herd – being related to Kaiser, Skander, and Faline – he tends to be happy-go-lucky and carefree, knowing that for the most part, he can get off scott-free and those who get into fights with him get punished. However, he tends to lean toward a very hot-headed disposition, always spoiling for a fight and willing to start a brawl at the drop of a hat.

History:
Mercutio is the son of Kaiser and Noir. Kaiser knew a doe from childhood who had twin fawns by the names Saturio and Plutivio, and quite liked the ring of them, and so when Noir had her fawns – after a great deal of difficulty – decided he would name his son Mercutio.
As it turned out, Mercutio was nothing like his father. Unlike Kaiser, who very much got along with does and helped them out with issues and buck problems, Mercutio aired on the side of anti-feminism, making fun of does and suggesting every one of them suffered a very questionable morality – rather like the doe in the tales of the Great War, Lihua. Of course Mercutio jested, but it didn’t help his case.
In the beginning of his fawnhood, Mercutio was a very bold and quite crude one. He always held some sort of dislike to does, and always made jabs at them. He didn’t take long to meet Saturio and Plutivio, two fawns who were only a bit older than him. No antlers yet. Almost a month later, they were inseparable. Nothing came in between the three, and eventually, their mother even moved to a closer den. Mercutio preferred hanging out only with bucks, given his dislike for does and their fawning over certain males. For the first months of his life, Mercutio was at peace and greatly uneventful. However, late in the season, a massive storm battered the area for days.
In the outcome, a doe fawn would attach herself to Mercutio: A little doe named Sevin, the cousin of Saturio and Plutivio. Her parents both died in the flooding that followed the storm. She was deeply sad for many weeks, and even though Mercutio wasn’t fond of most does, he had to try and cheer her up, and as time went and she refused to take his console, he became increasingly bull-headed in his attempts. He absolutely refused to accept the idea that this little doe wouldn’t be happy again.
And thus, Mercutio the Bard was born.
Of course, it took weeks upon weeks at least before Mercutio’s attempts had any effect – the rare smile, something he’d never seen from her before. While yes, he had to admit she was pretty when she smiled, Sevin was just a doe fawn who he had taken on as a challenge.
She saw things differently.
Mercutio’s life went on, Sevin following the trio wherever they went, involving herself in all their danger – and she loved it. Mercutio didn’t quite appreciate it. But, of course, he could never talk her off. He eventually learned that there was no getting rid of her – she was like a cocklebur on the ear. As this all went, Mercutio’s fawnhood felt perfect.
Whole.
Except, it wasn’t. There came a day that he came upon Soliel, his sister, speaking to what seemed to be herself. He asked her who the heck she was having a conversation with, and she tripped over herself looking for a way to respond. This happened several times before Mercutio began seeing things differently – the wind had become something he could see before long, and the world became something bright and wonderful like never before. Everything changed. He saw things differently, more vividly… he dreamt.
But no, Mercutio did not inherit his father or grandfather’s ability to see spirits. This was something else. Something that Mercutio never spoke of outside his stories and vivid descriptions, no, never – this was his alone, and no one else’s. It was all his, his own little secret. And he loved it.
However, Mercutio’s serene life changed after he grew to be an adult.
Equipped with six points, he came back to again find Sevin – a beautiful doe, but nothing beyond a pretty face in Mercutio’s mind. He didn’t care. He began giving his “anti-love” speeches, giving his friends to advice to be cruel to love should it be cruel to them. Everything seemed all well and good – until murders began to appear, and all the herd was alarmed. Unbeknownst to him, two bucks were the source, not one – and one had a hit on the other, wanting nothing more than his death.
And his sister was in love with him.

Other than that, he's a great character in my opinion, and rather handsome.
Anyway, I love him, he's fantastic.
