History: As a calf, Christopher was born into a herd in the northern woods, where the snow fell heavily and the sun never really shown. The days were long and the food supplements were low. Christopher's mother was finding it very hard to feed her young son and herself. Soon the time had come for the herd to move on as the snowfall turned into a fierce blizzard. Christopher's mother knew that Christopher couldn't travel such far distances. Her heart fell knowing that her baby could no longer be with her. Christopher's sake was on the line and she didn't want to do this but it was a must. The mother of the calf left. Never to return, of course she had regret.
Christopher didn't know what to do as he laid upon the white wonderland, shivering and calling out for his mother. The day turned into night and the night was dreadful. Christopher soon gave up on the calling and laid buried under the snow. He rose his head to take in his last breath to feel a soft, fuzzy, snout upon his. Of course Christopher was frightened as he looked upon the bigger stranger. His eyes adjusted to the cold, windy weather to see the figure was a cow. She looked harmless as she smiled upon the calf, her blue eyes innocently into his lush green ones. "Don't be frightened little one..no one is going to harm you." Christopher looked up, his ears perked in an interesting attire. Sedna gently brushed the snow away off of his delicate body. Sedna knew he was alone and decided to become what this calf needed. A mother.
~2 months as he settled with Sedna~
Christopher pondered into the woods, ears perked and tail high as he was happy. He walked until he came upon a snoring owl, high in a tree. Christopher tuned in and walked up to the tree and asked," hello up there?" Owl awoke in a growling manner, to gaze his attention upon a young calf staring back at him. Owl hooted,"get away from here, go on. SHOO!" Christopher looked at the bird with an astonished look as he turned, racing back to his hideaway with Sedna. Where he knew he would be safe.
