Personality:

Quiet, curious, inquisitive, sometimes bull-headed, timid and gentle. He's perfectly fine with his older brother, Geno, being the next Great Prince.

Likes:

Man, new things, human-food, taking walks by himself, Gloria.

Dislikes:

Bucks (they tend to pick on him because he never lost his baby-spots), overly flirtatious does, when his father tells him to stay away from humans.

He doesn't particularly care for Syndica, but he does feel sorry for her since he knows what it's like to be picked on and teased.

Doesn't hate Malfatto, but sees him as a rival for Gloria's affections.

Bio:

Faline had no idea she was pregnant with twins. A day after giving birth to River, Faline went out to forage in the meadow (does will leave their newborn fawn tucked away in the forest during the day while they graze and then return at night to nurse their fawn). While grazing in the meadow, the ravens sounded off overhead, letting everyone know that Man was in the forest. Faline tried to flee, and was shocked when she was suddenly crippled with labor pains AGAIN. Frightened and confused, she sought shelter in a large cleft in the earth that was covered by grass. There, she silently gave birth to a very tiny buck fawn. She had to keep quiet and she had to keep her newborn son from getting up to nurse, for right at the opening of the den was Man, his boots practically in Faline's reach. She stayed in the den for hours until the hunter finally left.

But since the new fawn wasn't able to stand up and nurse as he was supposed to, Faline had a very hard time teaching the fawn to stand up. He was weak from not nursing, but eventually, he shakily stood on his wobbly little legs and nursed. Faline named the buck fawn Raven, since it was the ravens who announced the danger of Man.

Because he was denied the colostrum (first milk) he needed the first few hours of his life, Raven was a sickly fawn, and almost died a few times during his first winter. Due to his early life being an unhealthy one (and being born a day late), Raven never lost his baby-spots, even after he got antlers. But despite his fair and slender physique and his timid personality, Raven could not help but be completely fascinated with humans. Bambi fears this unhealthy attraction will be fatal in the long run, so he forbids his young son to go near Man's settlements. But, like most kids, Raven disobeys and is often found sneaking away to get close to Man. He is intrigued by Man's ability to create, to survive and to discover. He enjoys eating out of garbage cans (he LOVES human food) and even likes to watch TV from the windows. Though he loves to observe humans, he's also afraid of them, because he knows how destructive Man can be.

His dream is to ask Gloria to go on one of his human-watching outings with him. So far, he's still too shy to ask her.

He looks up to his bog brother and likes to hang out with Geno any chance he gets. He loves being able to hang out with Geno and his friends Bumper and Stinkweed.
