Thorn is the mate of Rose. He was original *For me* Called Funny. He was nick-named Strongest deer of the herd after he beat Bramble in every contest he was challenged against. He was always fighting other bucks and encouraged his son Luka to do do the same. He was a weak and feeble character to start with, but he grew into a legend. He was disliked by Bramble, despite how many times he tried to defend him when Rose called him a creep. He fell in love with Rose, the first time he saw her. He was wanted by all the does in the herd, but he only had eyes for Rose. His eyes where Brown and "Went" with his fur. He was a poor orphan who had to defend him self. That's why he was so strong, from being WILD! He HATED Bramble calling him the "Lickle orphan" and he tried to stand up for himself. 

He also had rivarly with Antony later who wanted to become the strongest stag in the herd and fought Thorn many times for the title but never succeded.
