The War, Part Two, Morning.
“Rusky! Rusky! Wake up!”
“Wha, what, hu.” Rusky lifted his head and saw Togo in front of him. “Rusky wake up.” Togo said “Rusky, we ate breakfast thirty minutes ago, I’ve been keeping the others off of your food.”
“I’m not that hungry.” Rusky said.
As soon as he said that, Woosh! Ivan swooped in and snatched up Rusky’s food.
Togo looked angrily at him, then turned back to Rusky. “What’s wrong Rusky, you never let Ivan eat your food.”
“I’m just not hungry.” He said. “Come on Rusky, I know there’s something wrong.” Togo said.
“Well.” Rusky said, “I had this dream. I was standing on a beach, and the sea was completely still. I watched it for a minute, then I noticed a wave, from one side. Then a slightly bigger wave from the other side. They kept coming from both sides, each time getting bigger and bigger! Until they were big waves, no, humongous waves……”
“Tsunamis.” Togo said “humongous waves are called tsunamis.”
“Oh, ok.” Rusky said “they’re were giant tsu-na-mi-s crashing into each other. Then a half seagull half crow, flew into the middle tsu-na-mis. And then, the tsunamis burst apart, and the sea was calm again. What do you think it means, Togo.”
“Hmm.” Togo said “I knew you were Raknu’s son, but, I didn’t think you would get them this young.”
“Get what this young?” Rusky asked. “Well,” Togo said “your father, Raknu, is the leader of his wolf pack.”
“Yes, I know he’s the leader.” Rusky said
“since he’s the leader,” Togo continued, “he sees prophecies in his dreams sometimes, they help him see what Aleu’s pack is going to do next. And I thought that you might see them too, just, not as soon, since your only part wolf. But I guess I was wrong.” Togo laughed “I mean, there’s a first time for everything!”
“How do we find out what it means?” Rusky asked. “Well, I guess we go ask Raknu.”
“But where is he?” Rusky asked “I know. I’ll lead you there” Togo said
“Yay!” Rusky said “we’re going to Raknu’s pack!”
