"They're not worth the time..."
''Yo, Ky!'' Conor shouted over to his pack mate who stood next to Jimmy.
Kyrik looked up to see Conor and Conquer heading his and Jimmy's way.
Conquer chuckled and said, ''We hear Circe's in a little daydream over you.''
Kyrik blushed shyly, and as his face burned into a red tint, Circe's twin brother's began to laugh more and more, mocking Kyrik's crush.
''He has no chance!'' One mocked, and the other agreed laughing with voices almost like a hyena's, ''What makes him think he'd ever actually get somewhere?!''
All the while, Jimmy stood there silently, his thoughts racing back to Rory. For the first time, he felt as if he could relate to Kyrik and felt a strong desire to defend his contrasting cousin.
Jimmy spoke calmly to Kyrik, giving the two brown wolves a dirty look, ''They're not worth the time, Kyrik. Let's just go.''
Jimmy turned to leave. Kyrik's pink tinted cheeks disappeared and was replaced with a dirty glare painted on his face that was shot at Conor and Conquer. Kyrik followed after his dark cousin, coming to a realization that Jimmy had actually chosen to help him for the first time.
When the two were closer to the woods and the lake where Conor and Conquer's laughter echoed was far behind Kyrik and Jimmy, Kyrik spoke to Jimmy as he followed the black wolf, staring at the snow-covered ground, ''Thank you.''
Jimmy stopped with his head low near the white ground and without turning his head, he cast Kyrik a quick glance with his green eyes and continued on, now lost in the memories of Rory; knowing that Kyrik was a reflection of who Jimmy was once ago.

Ahh yes, how I love rendering frowns. Dunno why, but I do >.<
So, I had this render taking up space for quite some time because I had no idea as to which characters should be in this one (originally I thought I might put Balto in Kyrik's place or something similar, but I quickly scrapped the idea). I dunno why, but it's actually taking me a lot longer than it should to make my renders these days :/:
(From left to right) Conquer, Conor, Kyrik, and Jimmy; all of which are mine.
Background was made by the kind Troll Berserker.
Original was Universal's.
