I agree. I find sparkledogs annoying too, but there's a lot of more important things to worry about. Wake up, people.

Amarog's expression is priceless. I know how you feel Singapaw. The arguement is senseless, stupid and there is absolutely no point for it. But most of all, it is very annoying. I mean, come on? I thought we were more grown up than this. Clearly, I'm wrong. Again, it is senseless. Oh, and the commenting on the sparkle characters page is nothing but plain rude and hurtful. It's honestly like some people have nothing else to do on the source but rant about Sparkle characters. Leave sparkle artists be. I hate sparkle dogs myself and agree that they have no right to be on BS whatsoever. If you love realistic characters, stick to your characters my friends. Don't go ranting on about sparkle dogs, do the sensible thing and just don't view them. Sparkles are not in anyway appropriate for this sort of site, I admit that and that's my honest opinion. But the sparkle and character argument is immature and kind of childish if you ask me. In all sense, the argument should stop and people should just do what's right and ignore these types of characters. I totally and utterly agree with you Singapaw, and with MiniFashiion too.

As for the image Singapaw, it's amazing as always, and the shot by gummy bears? That's plain hilarious .

Angel, the only resource left to English-side members, in order to get steet to stand up and pay attention, IS complaining. Frankly, not every complaint, no matter how lengthy it happens to be, lacks intelligence or veracity.

Will anything happen? Maybe not. But you know what? There are a good number of people who are not going to be deterred or derailed by that "nothing's going to happen" argument...whether it is stated out of sympathetic frustration, or as a tool to get those who are complaining and to stop so that sparkle dogs and other unrelated garbage can remain on here.

Besides, if you have been following the comments in the rant board on the forum, you'd know that steps are being taken in that direction. It's proactive. Hell, that's even been stated here more than once.

"Raising awareness" is not the same thing as complaining. It's okay to get more people aware of it, but whining won't do that.

Angel Dreamer: but the more people post, the more people actually do something, and realise the issue. The main people who inspired me were Mighty, Jersey and Hecate. They brought up this issue to many people, and now these people are cleaning out galleries and deleting characters. That is probably the best way to get this back to being a fansite, by raising awareness.

I don't name names. But I've seen quite a few people go on and on about it.
What I mean to say is this: People can complain about it all they want, and go on and on and on in their artist descriptions.... and..what's gonna happen? Nothing! It's a bit futile.
Like what's been said before..stop blabbing and complaining and let's DO something. Take action and take up arms!

I hate badly made sparkle characters. They shouldn't be here, they should be on freaking DA..or FA. But HEY, nothing is gonna be done about it, and posting a small novel of ranting that nobody reads isn't gonna change anything. =/
