Beginning of the End::.
Kellah runs away from Steele as he stops chasing her, half-content with his attempt at trying to make her mate with him. She turns around to see where he is, but realizes she's blind. Kellah continues running until she reaches Nome and collapses into an alleyway. Izzy (her brother) tries to find her. Steele is long gone, and Izzy finds Kellah half-dead. He heals her, but she's blind forever.
