''I can't live like that''
So I was thinking about how WQ's plot would be without all the obvious plot holes. And so this happened.
After the serum run Balto was adopted by Rosie's familly. Not so long after that Jenna had a litter of 6 puppies. Being the children of a famous hero, the puppies got adopted very quickly, including a female pup named Aleu, who resembled her father the most. However, Aleu was a horrible pet dog. She kept running away and she didn't want to listen to her owners. Even though most of the dogs stoped making fun of Balto after he saved the children, they started teasing Aleu for being so wild. One day Aleu get angry and bit her owner when he/she tried to make her listen, so she was given away back to Rosie's familly. Aleu quickly ran away to Balto's old boat because she didn't want to live among humans anymore. Jenna and Balto tried to cheer her up and talk to her, but nothing seemed to make Aleu happy and satisfied with her life. She began being haunted by weird dreams and when she woke up, she understood that her fate is to live in the wild among the wolves. Balto ran with his daughter to helph her on her journey.

Yep, the part that takes place in Nome seems really plot-holed and
badly made xD I wanted to fix the plot holes and give Aleu a reason to
leave without it being the annoying "ho m I ?", especially that I
consider it rater unrealistic that nobody ever mentioned the fact
Balto is half wolf. "My" Aleu is still immature, but she's more wild and determined. And while Balto wanted fo fight the unacceptance of people and dogs, Aleu did the exact opposite - she wanted to get away. |
