The Lost Daughter, Pt 15: Don't Leave Me
Isabelle stared down in the gorge; she was paralyzed from shock, anger and realization of the fact that she had been lied to her whole life. How could someone she had loved and trusted like a father, have done something like that?
But that person was gone now, and Belle couldn't help but feeling sad as well. Tears rolled down on her cheek, and her whole body was trembling, but then, she snapped out of it, shaking her head.
- Belle... Eva whispered with a weak voice, Belle looked over her shoulder, and rushed to her wounded sister.
- That was amazing, Belle. Now he can't hurt anyone anymore, Eva said quietly, and coughed a few times. Isabelle looked at her with worried eyes.
- Eva, I'm so sorry.. I should never have believe Varcolac's lies, Belle said, and Eva looked at her.
- But, now that he's gone, we can start a whole new life, together! Right? Come on, Eva, get up, Isabelle nudged Eva's cheek.
- I... I don't think I can, Eva said quietly with a weak voice, raising her head, but it dropped right back on the ground.
- Yes you can, come on! I'll, I'll help you, Belle said with a trembling voice, Eva closed her eyes and attempted to get on to her feet, with Belle's help, but her strength was gone, and she fell back on the ground.
- It's no use... I can't even stand up. You'll have to go on without me, Eva said quietly, panting and her eyes were half closed.
- No! I'm not leaving you, it's not gonna happen! Belle said with raised brows, and nudged her sister's forehead.
- You have to... you can't carry me in this weather, Eva coughed again a few times, and then looked at Isabelle with a weak, tired smile.
- At least I got my little sister back for a while... she began, but her eyes started to close.
- Eva, please hold on! I just got you back into my life, you can't leave me now! Isabelle said with a trembling voice, her eyes started to water, and she nudged Eva's cheek, and she opened her eyes, smiling weakly.
- It's okay, Belle... she began, but then, her head dropped, and she lost consciousness.
- No... Eva, please don't leave me! cried Isabelle, trying to desperately nudge her sister, but to no avail. She sat down, closing her eyes and as tears ran down on her cheek, she sobbed quietly. But then, she raised her her and began to howl, as she'd never howled before, hoping and praying that someone would be able to hear, and come to their aid...
