The Lost Daughter, Pt 12: The Escape
- Eva, come on, wake up, Isabelle nudged Eva's cheek with her nose, she began coughing and slowly opened her eyes.
- Belle... I thought I'd lost you forever, Eva said with a quiet and weak voice, coughing a couple of times.
- It's okay, we're together again, Belle said, Eva lifted her head and they nuzzled - and now, Varcolac let out an angry growl.
- I've had enough! Isabelle, come here this instant! he roared furiously, as Belle was nudging Eva who was struggling to try and get onto her feet.
- No! Isabelle yelled boldly, looking at Var.
- You've been lying to me my whole life! You made me think that my own sister is my enemy, when in reality, the only enemy here is you, she spoke with a brave tone, and Var growled angrily, but then raised his brow.
- Belle, my dear, if you come to your senses now, I promise to forgive you for this insolent behavior, and to finish her off quickly, he said with a raised brow, and Belle growled quietly. Now, Eva managed to just barely get on her feet, though she could barely stand up, Isabelle nudged her and allowed her to lean on her.
- Can you stand up, Eva?
- Yeah, I think so, Eva panted quietly, coughing a few times.
- Come on, big sister, let's get out of here, Belle said, looked at Var with an angry growl, and then, the two sisters took off running past him and his minions. Var let out a furious roar, as they headed towards the cave entrance.
- Hey! Get back here! Sven yelled, taking off after the sisters, but was stopped by Var:
- Stay put, Sven! he ordered, and the young wolf stopped in his tracks, looking over his shoulder.
- But Var, they're getting away! he called.
- Stay put, I said! I'll handle this personally, Var ordered with a low, threatening voice, and then, ran past his confused minions and took off after Eva and Isabelle, and now, a thrilling chase was about to begin...

Well thanks, but they have always been sisters, Belle just forgot
about it for all those years because of Var's manipulating and
brainwashing. |
