As threatening as Varcolac was appearing, Eva was not afraid of him. She didn't care what he might do to her, she was just determined to make her sister see the truth, and to save her from his clutches. And from the looks of things, it seemed as if she just might have started to get through to her...
- Isabelle, listen to me, Eva began, and took a few steps closer to Belle, who stepped back and looked away.
- If you look into your heart, I'm sure you'll find that everything I've said is true, Eva pleaded, and Belle looked into the ground, her mind puzzling with confusion and so many questions.
- Do not listen to her, Belle! She's trying to turn you against me, Var growled angrily, and Eva glanced at him letting a small growl.
- But... what if she is telling the truth? How can I be sure? Isabelle said quietly.
- Look, it's not too late, Belle, you can still start all over, Eva said, with raised eyebrows, and approached Isabelle, who looked at her.
- Shut up, Var growled quietly, growing more and more furious at Eva's every word.
- Come with me, Isabelle, and start a whole new life, far from here, Eva continued to try to plead to Isabelle, who clearly was listening to her, but still unsure as to who she should listen, or trust. But before she could say anything, Var let out a furious growl.
- That's enough! he roared, then he lunged at Eva, sinking his teeth into her shoulder scruff, she yelped from pain and Belle gasped taking a step back, as Var dragged Eva away from her and threw her against the cave wall. Eva grunted from pain and fell to the ground, and Isabelle felt her heart racing, and couldn't help but raise her eyebrows from pure shock: she'd never seen her beloved uncle Var act like this before. Why was he so determined to stop Eva from talking to her, and how far was he willing to go? Was she finally starting to see his true colors...?
