The Lost Daughter, Pt 3: Unpleasant News
After spotting the daughter of Nava in the woods, Niju immidietally rushed to report back to his boss, the feared Varcolac. And he did NOT take the news well...
- Are you absolutely sure it was her?? he growled, after hearing Niju's report.
- Positive, boss. I'd recognize her anywhere, Niju nodded, as Var walked in circles in front of him.
- What is she even doing in these parts of the woods? he mumbled to himself.
- Nava must have passed on, and therefore she's a loner now. That means, we can take over his old territory, right? Niju said with a smile and raised eyebrows.
- You idiot! Don't you understand? Var growled angrily, and Niju took a startled step back.
- If she discovers our little... secret, everything we worked so hard for could be destroyed. We cannot allow that to happen, Var snarled angrily, and Niju swallowed quietly.
- So... what do we do, then?
- Follow her around for a while, and find out what she's up to. We will take action if needed, Var growled with a low voice, Niju nodded, and then left, and Var let out a small and angry snarl, then he stormed off.
