What's A Soulmate?

Aurora was laying on a rock watching the sun set and sighed, She heard a noise and looked behind her to see her youngest grandchild Patch wonder up to her.
"Grandma, whats a soulmate"? young Patch said
Aurora smiled and looked at the young pup "why do you want to know that"?
"Its what dad calls mom, his soulmate" Patch said sitting down beside his grandma.
Aurora smiled "A soulmate is someone who you feel deeply connected to, someone who is more than your mate, they are your best friend"
Patch looked confused "Is that what Grandpa was to you" He asked
Aurora smiled "Yes Patchie, your grandfather was my best friend in the whole world, but i think its time you get home" She said nudging her grandson in the directio of home. Patch smiled and nuzzled his grandma goodbye. Aurora looked up at sky, "Amaruq my love if you could see our family, now you would be so proud, i miss you everyday" Then she walked away.
Unbeknownst to anyone, the spirit of Amaruq smiled down at his mate and grandson.
Just a thought, i know its not the best render, i tried to blend Amaruq into the background more, but alas i failed, but i hope you like it.

This is so cute! Love the innocence of Patch asking his grandmother
what a soulmate is, and Aurora answear was so pure but yet full
