''Tristan, can I speak to you in private?'' Alicyn said nervously, although she wasn't nervous, she was just acting, trying her best to make herself believable.
Tristan nodded his head curiously, and started to lead the way to a snowy field outside of Nome so they could speak privately.
Tristan confessed as they were walking next to each other, ''Ali, I have some news that I think you'll like.''
Ali smiled, ''I think mine will be more important.''
Tristan said, ''You first then.''
Ali stopped walking, and felt a small kick in her stomach. Her stomach was already turning slightly pink, and getting bigger. It wouldn't be long until it was clear that she was pregnant. She said to Tristan, ''I'm pregnant.''
Tristan stood there, shocked. He tried his best to remember that night in the hospital, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't. Could it be true? Was he the father?
''And you're the father.'' Ali said, trying her best to hide her grin. Now Ava would never be with Tristan, or any other girl, because they were now parents and eventually mates.
Tristan couldn't feel his paws, he was so shocked. But he told Ali his news, ''Ava and I are mates now, Ali.''
Ali said, ''Tristan...''
Tristan didn't listen to her, he went on, ''And we're gonna stay that way. Ali, this is the end. of you and I. I'm moving to Anchorage in a few days, and Ava is coming with.''
Tristan turned away from Ali and began to walk towards the setting sun, ''Goodbye, Ali.'' He said darkly.
Ali stood there, furious and empty. She would get Tristan eventually. She hid her smirk as she thought up another plan that would make Tirstan stay, and Ava leave. She walked towards the forest, in search of someone very special...

DUN, DUH DUH!!!!
I am SOOO gonna write this fiction. It's a nice break from Illia, but it deals with the second generation of wolves and has MUCH more Balto in it.
Background's trash, I know. But it was really difficult to remove Boris, barrels, the boat, and Balto. Oh well, at least the footprints are ok :3
