Alright, so I will admit I was wrong. I just figured that since this is lineart for others to use, even if it was hand drawn, that it belonged as an image. Even though I personally think they should be treated the same as renders.

And just to clarify, my statement about linearts being banned from art galleries was just a mix up.

This, if it IS hand-drawn, completely by the artists self without any "tracing over screenshots" should be posted in the fanart section, I know Kelsey used to post her DRAWN linearts in the fanart section because that was completely her art, without tracing screenshots.

To me, this looks a lot more like a traced base from a screenshot of Jenna, rather than the author actually drawing it, but if Jennaco said she drew it, then she drew it. It just reminds me an awful lot of one of the screenshots of Jenna x'D Maybe it's just me xP

I must agree with Troll on this.

If she draw this by herself, it's a fanart, yes. I'm with Troll on this, it's a lineart and not a blank render ;)

You seem to be ignoring part of my posts as well:
"I don't see any new/"right" rules anywhere, nor anything that says that art (even if it's free to use) should belong to graphics section."

I know the difference, Troll, but you seem to be ignoring the fact that this lineart is intended for people to use (note the description). Like I said, a lineart doesn't need to be a traced image from the film, it can be hand drawn. A lineart is a lineart, whether it be traced from the films, or drawn by hand. I don't see why it should be treated any differently.

And actually, now that I think about it, that rule I was referring to was meant for colored linearts belonging in fan image galleries since people used to submit them to their fanart galleries.

Traced lineart or "blank render", whatever you call it - http://www.animationsource.org [...] 56.html&numart=6917&display=18 - is a trace from the movie, not a new drawing, therefore it goes to image (graphics) gallery.
Drawn lineart - http://www.animationsource.org [...] 154.html&numart=986&display=18 - is artist's own drawing, therefore it belongs to art (drawings) gallery.
I don't see what's unclear here and I don't see why those simple rules while submitting images shouldn't be accurate. If rules were OFFICIALLY changed, admins would have changed it too. Also, I don't see any new/"right" rules anywhere, nor anything that says that art (even if it's free to use) should belong to graphics section.

"this looks more like drawn, not traced so it belongs to fanart "

Unless I'm not understanding here, a lineart does not be to be traced from the movies to be considered a lineart. A lineart can be hand drawn for other to use, and those belong in the images, not your fanart gallery.

I think that rule you posted is an outdated rule. Because if I recall, linearts were banned from fanart galleries some time ago.

This is a lineart for people to use, Charlotte. It belongs in the images gallery, that's the rules.

Though I will admit, this lineart is better than some of her other linearts, but this one still has room for improvement. The shakiness of the lines can be avoided by using other tools provided in Paint. MY only concerns about the anatomy is that the back is too short, the tail is too long, the left front leg is too far away from the right leg. The neck seems off in some way, I'm not sure how to describe it.

If it is free hand then it does not belong in images. People won't use lineart if it has bad anatomy and it's in the wrong catogory. Go to my art gallery, I have freehand art there. Look around the site, or even on the Internet.
